Estate Agent's apostrophe?

Made in Korea (Netflix) Shenba, from a small Indian/Tamil town, has always dreamed of going to Korea but when she gets there things aren't quite as wonderful as she had hoped. Netflix must have thought that they had found the perfect movie for us as we watch Indian movies and Korean TV shows. Unfortunately this was a kinda downbeat tale. It eventually livens up for a while and has a hopefulish ending but even that is tempered with sadness.

Just read that Bilal Hasna (Kash in Extraordinary) is playing Jesus.

The article I read suggested this was a "hopeful" post-apocalypse but I'm not sure the trailer gives that impression.

Been a bit too busy to post here, so another quick round up. Project Hail Mary (Cinema) Not read the book, but the film was an enjoyable couple of hours. Surprised it's doing so well as it's edging toward "hard" SF. The Magic Faraway Tree (Cinema) Another that I somehow haven't read the books for, which is probably just as well because we lived near a wood and I would have been spending my childhood searching for a magic faraway tree. Lovely movie aimed at the smaller ones though the bit with Moonface at the end caused my hayfever to flare up. Sketch (Sky Movies) A grieving family comes together when the disturbing drawings of the young daughter come to life and terrorise the town. Family comedy/horror that surprisingly fun. Eat Pray Bark (Netflix) A disparate and desperate group of dog owners sign up with a Celtic dog trainer in this German comedy that's a pleasant watch. Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice (Disney+) A mobster travels back in time to correct some of the problems he has caused. Fairly amusing but ultimately forgettable. F Valentine's Day (Prime Video) Gina was born on Valentine's Day and hates it with a passion. When she thinks her boyfriend is going to propose on that day she decides that this cannot be allowed to happen. Fun romcom set mainly in Greece but with the location work done in Malta.

Finished Paradise Season 2. Found it as gripping as the first season in its own way but missed the focus on the "city" stuff. I can see why people found Ep4 so moving but my personal circumstances meant it wasn't as engaging for me (I thought the bit with the horse was more moving than the other stuff, especially Xavier's "wonders of children" monologues). I didn't think the reveal at the end of Ep8 was as unexpected as some found it as there were hints laid in Ep3. Lots of nitpicks of the show but still looking forward to the final season... unless it's going to turn out to be "too big to fit into one season so we are doing two, or may three or maybe four"*. *Or as many as we can if you lot keep watching.

Some people use the line "He wasn't convicted of anything" to justify enjoying Michael Jackson's music.

Not sure how long it's been on there, but I've just noticed that Prime Video have all four seasons of The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (it was an MGM show so they could have had it for ages). Can't find The Return of the Man from U.N.C.L.E.: The Fifteen Years Later Affair or The Girl from U.N.C.L.E., though. Started watching the first episode and was surprised both by how much I remembered from the "films" the BBC used to show and how today it would probably be considered "woke rubbish" by the usual suspects. U.N.C.L.E. is "an organisation consisting of agents of all nationalities" and the first U.N.C.L.E. agents we see are Del Floria (Italian), a Chinese receptionist and a black security guard.

OUR BUS. OUR CHOICE. Doesn't sound as inspiring as they seem to think. Whilst they should be applauded for their honesty it really sounds like they're saying, "We're doing things this way. Don't like it? Then walk."

Mosyle (and Lightspeed) can be set so that you just unlock the pad. I assume this is something offered by other MDMs too.

Using Mosyle free with 120 pads and, apart from having a lot of "bulk" operations locked from us, it's fine. I did try to push for paid but the school didn't even buy charges for the 60 received just before Easter...

Started with Lightspeed (paid) and ditched it in favour of the free version of Mosyle, which I much prefer. Have a sole pad on Jamf at another site and it seems OK but doesn't really see enough use to fairly comment. The main thing that I'd like to move to paid Mosyle for is that some of the "do it to all the pads I've selected" things aren't free. That said, most of the basic features like enrolment, app deployment and profile deployment can be done en masse. Just set 60 up with the only problems documented here:

Automatic date and time seems to think we're in Los Angeles . iOS 26.2/26.2.1 but the I think the issue persists even after updating to 26.3.1 (a). On Wednesday I'll try a new one and let it update to check.

Anyone got any ideas why one of my profiles only seems to properly apply when a new device is erased? On first setup it shows all the same profiles as a "correct" device, but I have to erase the device to get them all to properly stick; just reinstalling the profiles doesn't seem to help. Also, where the heck to you set the time zone? Getting tired of having to set the pads to London manually.

Fackham Hall (Standard rental, most places) Trailer NSFW Pressed the wrong button and rented this (was trying to use a voucher) but didn't end up regretting it, as it was surprisingly funny. It reminded me of early ZAZ movies like "Airplane" but sending up "Downton Abbey" and "Poirot" and not quite as non-stop on the gags.

Mother's Pride (Cinema) Some salty language in the trailer. A washed up pop star returns to his home town to find his family's pub is in dire straits. One of those cosy British comedic dramas along the lines of "Fishermen's Friends". It doesn't reinvent the wheel, but it doesn't need to. Worth a look if you like that sort of movie.

I recently got my first Moto since the OG Razr. Love the gestures and Smart Connect enough to be likely to get another when the time comes.

I also suspect that a lot of the properties are in need of modernising to cope with larger/heavier vehicles and so their main value is as land.
