Got the bike working now, just needed a few bump starts in 2nd gear. Also i have now passed my CBT, and got insured. Now just to MOT and tax the bike and i am off

Hello and good morning fellow edugeeks! Lately i have seen videos and articles on creating and using batch files to optimise workflow/efficiency and i am very interested in learning to do so, especially to copy the contents of one folder to another and update it with new items in the folder whenever i run the batch file. However the tutorials i have came across online seem to all be very basic, so i was wondering what language i would need to learn to make and understand batch files. Also if anyone knows any decent sites that can do this for me please do feel free to post As always any and all help is appreciated, Rob

It is all charged up based on what you have said. Off to halfords later to pick up some new spark plugs so i am seriously hoping it will start with new ones. Either way im off til monday so its my mini project to get going by then. Cheers.

Thought i would keep everyone updated as you have all been so kind and helpful. I have got the bike now AJS DD125E how ever it will not start i think it is the spark plugs as they are dirty as anything and wont spark against the engine when i tried that. Also a pipe came off the bottom of the bike the other day and i cant see where i could possibly attach it, but one end looks like it has never been attacked to anything as it has gunk all over it so i am guessing it is some kind of run off. As for clothing, i went to J&S in watford as recommended and bought: IXS HX-580 Arcon Helmet Blytz T3 Short Boots Frank Thomas SEG201 XTI2 Short Sport Glove J&S Rift trousers Frank Thomas FTW328 Strada Jacket (also the people in there are lovely, i told the shop assistant that i am a first time rider and i want the maximum protection gear i can get for £300 and he helped me pick stuff that came over my budget then got the manager to know it down for me) Now just to get the bloody bike running so i can MOT,tax and insure it and get on the road

I used to wear a shirt and trousers but these days i just wear some thick worker trousers and any old tshirt with a pair of high-tops/trainers.

Staff in my school are lazy to the point they get me to transfer files to usb sticks for them. I would kill to have staff like that!

I did not expect this level of help and to see so many bikers on here Could any of you tell me if there are any online stores you can recommend for safety/general biking gear? Or even if you are in bedfordshire/near Luton are there any dealer ships you can recommend for looking at other bikes (my budget is about 800 to find a nice beginner bike, not got much of a clue though). I would much rather ride a motorbike, i do not enjoy pedal bikes.

Good to know, i thought the cbt was going to be really intensive and hard. Nice bit of advice on watching out for other drivers, have to do this even on my pedal bike, drivers in luton seem to all be arrogant idiots.

Will stick to a 4 stroke then for sure then. I was wondering if any of you ride motorbikes as i am a first time rider looking to buy one this weekend and i was wondering about a few things if any of you would be kind enough to answer: What is the difference between 2 ad 4 stroke? Is the balancing/turning the same as a pedal bike? Would a 2009 AJS RegalRaptor 125cc be a decent first bike for going roughly 3 miles a day to work and back? Thanks in advance for all help/advice, it is much appreciated! (i hope this is in the right section, just let me know if not and i will move it.)

Ok, thanks guys. So if i want to run my steam games purely from my hdd, can i just drag the steam folder in program files into the other drive and it will just work like that?

Good morning all, This is probably such a simple thing to sort out but i cant seem to kickstart my brain today... Yesterday i got some components to upgrade my PC for gaming and in general (r9 270x, 120gb kingston ssdnow v300), i have installed them and got my old 500gb hdd plugged in too. The problem is how ever that i noticed that my steam games will not install anymore as the SSD is full, is there an easy way to keep the important games on the SSD and have everything else (including programs) on the hdd. Bloody DPD Was supposed to be delivered on Saturday but the delivery guy just posted the missed delivery slip and did'nt even bother knocking. Cant wait to go pick it up from my local depot tonight!

Fair point, i did not consider that. Will be samsungs from now on then if we need any SSDs for work machines.

For me personally i dont see the point in paying that much more for slightly better specs, as it is i have not even seen/used an SSD yet so im sure i will be more than happy with the performance compared to my HDD. Granted i am only that way because my wages are garbage

Hello everyone, i was wondering if any of you could be so kind as to give your experiences with the parts i have bought to upgrade my PC. My main current specs are: i5 3570k @ standard speed MSI 7850 Twin Frozr III 2GB 8GB Corsair vengeance 1600mhz ram 500GB Seagate barracuda Asus p877v lx mobo I will be adding:MSI R9 270x Gaming 2g edition Kingston SSDnow 120gb sata3 Corsair Raptor HS40 7.1 gaming headset Corsair Raptor K30 gaming keyboard I am upgrading as my gpu just does not seem to able to play games at the settings i want with the fps i want (bf4,dayZ,Skyrim,Planetside 2,crysis3 and farcry3) and for some reason skyrim just does not seem to work with this card, the fps is fine but the mouse controls are completely off and unusable, this is the case for a few other games too. Hello and god morning guys and gals! I hope this is in the right section. Currently i am having issues with logging into my work office 365 account. When i log in i am prompted to change password, so i change it using all characters needed and in the right boxes, when i go to submit my new password though the page loads until the connection times out and nothing happens, after this logging in with either old or new password does not work and the password reset feature dows not work either, the reset links take me a page to ask for admin help.... but i have the admin account. I did not set up our 365 here so i have no clue what to do next, any help please?

AMD R9 270x is a beast for the price, you will find it hard to find anything better for £140.
