We are looking to roll out 16 Interactive Screens over the Spring break to get rid of our oldest projectors. After having the top 3 interactive displayed demoed to us over that last 4 weeks which were CTouch, CleverTouch, Iboard. After some significant trailing and testing we have plumed for the Iboard all in all we found them to be the best units in all aspects of testing. We liked the way that all software hardware and installation would be done by the same company. This meant upon request we can get little niggles sorted out instantly. As with the other boards software and hardware was all separate which meant continuous nagging between companies. Also they had a smaller bezel than the others and looked great with and standard VGA input compared to the others which images looked a little grainy. You really have to try it to feel the difference between the other 2 but honestly can say we really liked them. Pricing was very competitive as well and had all the features that the others had. All in all it is a complete product which looks and feel smarter than the other 2 boards and will report more once we have them installed and up and running for a few months.

Wish I was in your boat seems like an exciting task and of course with that sort of funding I bet all areas tied down. Trouble is with our work place we are always financially constraint and have to live with what we have . Good chatting to you hope it all goes well and with that sort of stratgey i'm pretty sure you will be fine.

If only life was that easy the amount of software that we have given to us from members of staff, demanding we have this put on the network. Even though application cannot be run on our network due to system requirements or its just simple to old and they don’t want to update to the latest version of the software. Trouble is educational software is not as straight forward as a simple MSI and have had to turn away staff on a number of occasions. Recently we sent out an email to all departments regarding 'Future Software Purchasing' but as you can guess we still have staff members knocking on our door giving us new bits of software which haven’t been approved. Just thought I’d give you a heads up working in education isn’t as strictly structured as the private sector. As you have to deal with umpteen different requests from multple departments. We currently have 102 applications on our network and growing.

Well Done your the Winner Absolute joke that the latest version has all of a sudden now become case sensitive. As the parameters worked perfectly fine in the previous version of SIMS!! Didn't get out of work till nearly 6pm due to this uninformed error

Morning All, Had soooo much fun yesterday afternoon trying to deploy out the latest version of SIMS. As anyone would expect you think you could use the previous parameters from SIMS 7.159 to deploy out the latest version SIMS 7.161 but no clearly some at Capita is having a wind up with us all! Please see the below the two command line enters for deployment of Sims across the network. Thanks for the insight also did you have to install prerequisites separately? As I noticed if it didn’t have the correct prereqs it would just fail out instantly!

i know this is a little of topic but did any of you have success in deploying out Solidworks 2014 across your network? If so how as i could'nt get any succes deploying it via SCCM and have resulted to deploying it locally on 60 odd workstations

It’s a joke im not going round 60 client machines and installing it locally! I spoke to the company and there reply was do it as I did previously in the past. You should have seen the installation instructions they attached to me, it was so embarrassing had old Community Connect 2 instructions on it nearly feel of my seat! Pardon the pun but i do love the name of the company 'New Wave Technology'

Yes thank you it has given me some parameters ("cw300edu-setup.exe" /s /v"/qb") but I need to insert a serial number as it prompts on an attended install it requires these actions. Any chance you know what parameters are need?

Afternoon, Could anyone help me with deploying out Circuit Wizard 3 via sccm? I have spoken to the company and they sent me installation instructions which are 5 years out of date. Ask me to image a machine and deploy it out or use Community Connect 2/3 to package the application, which I found hilarious! Anyone know of any silent commands that can help me get this application out to 60 machines? Cheers Terry

Morning Guys, For the last few months now I have been having trouble installing Solidworks 2014 and have resorted to installing locally. It has to be by far the worst application i have ever had to install and Solidworks dont seem to have any sort of help guide for SCCM users. I have tried using the thread supplied on the Solidworks community forum to get into to install no avail! https://forum.solidworks.com/thread/84195 It seems to have so many prereqs needed for theapplication to install and I’m pretty sure I have installed all the required prerequisites! Has anyone had any luck with getting it onto SCCM and installing successfully? Could give me an insight into how you went about it, what precise prereqs and application you used to get it going? Terry
