  1. Thanks for the response Cache, Yes its a new server. Yes, deployment environment updated and have already tried Get Target Version but still no go.
  2. Hi, We have a new install of Solus3 (3.5.20) (on a new server) which is throwing an error when deploying a SIMS update. Critical Target Version Error There are targets in this deployment plan which are critical and have no version information, please check that all credentials have been correctly entered Checking 'Targets to be deployed to' indicates that SIMS Database target version is 0.0.0.0 Also the workstation that I want to deploy SIMS onto isnt showing here as expected SIMS runs on the new server and reports v7.150 build 22 (Database build 3.61.873) I've checked the credentials again and again, but cant see what I've missed. Anyone with any ideas? Thanks
  3. Yes, accessing via a web browser and indeed the "TO" section does autocomplete when used at home but not in school. You can also click on the "TO" which should load the 'people' (Contacts), but just refuses to when in school. Same laptop / same logon @ home & school.
  4. We have two users who have just been migrated from hotmail to Office 365 by M$. Both are having the same issue with missing contacts when using Office 365 in school. The people tile is empty and nothing is displayed when using the TO link when composing an email. When using Office 365 at home(on the same laptop) everything works ok. Can anyone offer any advice? Thanks
  5. NO Everyone doesnt do it! Pavements are for people - roads are for cars. Too many people think its ok to park on a pavement but this can cause obstruction and difficulty for pedestrians, mothers with prams, partially sighted people, wheelchair users etc. If you cant park your car on the road outside your house as theres not enough room, then park it elsewhere. You have no entitlement to park rightoutside your own property, if its safe to do so then ok, otherwise park it elsewhere and walk! If you need your car as close to you as possible then buy a house with a driveway. No excuse for parking on the pavement.
  6. We tried this many times - didnt work for us, but projector now replaced anyway.
  7. Hall projector has suddenly started displaying 'Unsupported Signal'. Have tried several different laptops and ran through all the resolutions available. Originally suspected that the laptop resoultion was out of range for the projector. Anyone with any ideas? Thanks
  8. I have a web application that needs to open Excel files embedded into the web page. However, Internet Explorer (9 in this case, but the same goes for 8) only gives me the option to save or open the file and when I choose open, the file is opened within a new Excel window. As far as I understand, opening files within IE should be the default behaviour, but for some reason that seems to have been altered in my installation and I can't seem to find a way to fix that. I'm running Windows 7, so there's no File Types tab under Folder Options in Windows Explorer. Any ideas on how to fix this? I can change the file association but this will open all excel files in IE and I only want ones that are embedded in the web page to open in the browser. Thanks
  9. We have exactly the same problem with our TDP-ST20. Have lived with it for over a year now as couldnt find anything out. Toshiba didnt know either and their support was useless - never calling back.
  10. I need to source a replacement projector for a Toshiba TDP-ST20 Can anyone recommend a direct replacement that will fit the toshiba boom arm. Thanks
  11. Hi, One of our classroom projectors (Toshiba TSP-ST20) keeps switching off at random intervals. This is anywhere in the range of 10 - 30 mins. The standby light is orange and the projector will start up again immediately when we switch it on via the remote, so I don't think its an overheating issue. Has anyone experienced the same? Thanks
  12. Yes, it can be hung from the ceiling. There are two types of brackets available depending if you have ceiling tiles or not. This one: Slim Mounting Bracket, Drop Ceiling mount for Ruckus 7341, 7343, 7363 (902-0181-000) available form wifi.co.uk attaches to the metal strip between the tiles. How many do you need - I have some going spare from the last install we did. There is also a Ruckus Flat Mount Bracket and Drop Ceiling Bracket - sorry dont have the product code to hand - which you can attach to either the ceiling tile or the metal strip.
  13. Four - Three girls (12, 7, 5 ) and a boy (18 months)
  14. We are experiencing the same problem as you MrWu. But not yet had the time to investigate...
  15. Came across this article which compared six wireless contenders against 65 clients: Apple AirPort Extreme: Dual-band 802.11n (3x3:2), standalone, version 7.5.1 Aruba AP125: Dual-band 802.11n (3x3:2) with Aruba 3200 controller running ArubaOS (ver. 6.0.0.1) Cisco Aironet 3502i: Dual-band 802.11n (2x3:2) with Cisco 4402 controller (ver. 7.0.98.0) HP E-MSM460: Dual-band 802.11n (3x3:3) standalone running version 5.5.0.0-01-9514 Meraki MR24: Dual-band 802.11n (3x3:3) running Meraki Enterprise Cloud Controller Ruckus ZoneFlex 7363: Dual-band 802.11n (2x2:2) with Ruckus ZoneDirector 1106 (version 9.1.0.0.38) Makes for an interesting read... 16. Hi, One of my schools have mislaid the remote control for the ICT Suite projector. Its a Sahara Protector XGA DLP projector. They cant see the exact model number as its covered by the ceiling pole mount. Presume that the remotes are standard across the range (please advise if incorrect). If anyone has one they want to part with or can help with a supplier it would be greatly appriciated. Thanks
  17. None of the default styles (Stars / faces, rainbow etc) appear when using the Creative Pen Tool (Notebook 10) - teacher just gets a black line. Cant find any settings to be able to switch this function off/on. Anyone with any ideas what the problem may be before I re-install. Thanks
  18. Support is very poor and spare parts are very hard to come by - Need a new new keyboard for an NL2 and no-one has them in stock, nor are interested in sourcing one. Very slow to start up. Sound quality is very poor (NL1), although slightly better on the NL2. I'd rather have a Samsung or Toshiba or a decent spec laptop.
  19. Ditto FN-GM We disabled startup repair and the problem went away. Down to machines being switch off whilst running rather than being shutdown properly. Theres a thread already on edugeek about it http://www.edugeek.net/forums/windows-7/85423-windows-7-trust-relationship.html http://www.edugeek.net/forums/windows-7/81544-trust-relationship-error-windows-7-a-3.html
  20. Hi, We have just installed a Epson EB420 XGA Short Throw and used a universal mount which fits on the promeathen V1 pole. Mount available from: RA Technology (Part # RA 4.3 PM 100) RA Technology, Projector mounts and cages When mounting we found that the angle we had to install the projector at pulled the power lead, vga lead etc too tight from within the boom arm. We had no spare play at the other end so had to reduce the length of the boom arm by around 3 inches. Projector is much better than the Promeathean upgrade route, especially as it comes with the quick corner keystone function, so you can get a great image thats fits the IWB.
  21. Sharp Photocopier support tell me that is is PCL6 compatible.
  22. AH... no SAPL drivers available for Server 2008 R2, Windows 7 or XP. Have also tried PS and PPD drivers but still no joy.
  23. Nothing unusual - all works as it should - device info can be obtained.
  24. No user codes needed. Its working fine when connected to the old network (Server 2003) but we have now just put in Server 2008 R2. Wondering if its being blocked by the firewall....
  25. We have just installed a Sharp MX-3111u Photocopier onto our network but are unable to get it to print. Print jobs show in the queue but then just disappear. We installed it with the PCL6 drivers and pushed it out with Group policy. All computers (Win7, XP & Server 2008) can see the potocopier and its properties and also the device can be access via its web interface. Any ideas anyone? Thanks
