Down in Gosport, across the harbour from Portsmouth , its a 3 bedroom semi with upstairs and downstairs bathrooms and 55ft garden. Its incredible the differences in housing costs depending on which side of the harbour you live on

So very true !! the only reason I even want this money is in preparation for when my little girl becomes my slightly bigger girl (this small voltage thing though...um...that sounds...well...could we maybe have that anyway )
-
Blocked by our LEA here, must confess I had never heard of it before this thread. (not really my thing these sites), will have to take a look at it tonight at home now and see what its all about

I dont mind the mortgage, its only 473 a month, thats WELL within my budget. The extra 25k in my bank added to the money already in there is nice though
-
True..but the fact that I can sell it for 145,000 , pay off the remaining mortgage, and still have 125,000 in my bank account, means that I can buy a 195,000 house, use 100,000 of my 125k towards the purchase..have a 95k mortgage..and keep the other 25k in my bank for me
-
Too true..its hell for first time buyers, I was lucky, when I bought my first house 11 years ago, it only cost 32,000 , so I have made a tidy profit on it now that I have sold it
-
Yeah its amazing how long the paperwork and messing about takes once all parties have accepted offers. Gwendes..December?? thats just insane ! 5months of shallying around, that would drive me to decapitation
-
Lol...you just dont get style like that these days
-
In our office it would look more like the Wensleydales
-
Could wear a shell Suit to avoid that
-
Sorry , thats me, my mind tends to bounce about and fly off at tangents quite a bit
-
Damn ! I really should check the best before dates on some of these tubes

I myself was surprised at the popularity and number of viewings, I guess I shouldnt be, the internal decor is modern and well maintained, its certainly light and airy inside the cage, and the stains wash out easily. Most of them anyway.
-
Hurrah..11 days after I put my house on the market, its sold. Which in itself is good, but what makes it even better is that the dream house which I have had my eyes on since I first saw it a month ago, has had my offer for it accepted Now for the insane wait while various people drag out the paperwork until god knows when

Aww..even the blue ones??
-
Yeah...see, these Ritalin just dont seem to do much. I cram them in, but nothing. Probably need something stronger, like a sledgehammer. Far too hyperactive for my own good Either that or I should stop eating these smarties

/runs at a sprint into the room Did someone say woman techs??

Could be awkward if you pull out one of the Girls PE uniforms by accident

Never been one to care about my image , I prefer people to judge me by my actions rather than my dresscode. I am happy knowing that people come to me out of respect for knowing that I can help them with their problem rather than because I wear a tie and look all pretty (though it should also be said that I am not really bothered about being viewed as a professional, I am what I am..a nerd who tinkers with computers, I'm happy with that definition )
-
I too go with a casual top, the ties just get in the way, dropping into PCs when I lean over them, getting hooked on stuff, the shirts get all mucky when I am laying cabling or drilling in the ceiling to mount a projector. Likewise I tend to wear combats or some other strong trousers (not jeans), because I have torn far too many decent pairs of trousers on sticky out metal things over the years. I just dont find shirt/tie/trousers all that much good in a practical role

Teachers installing illegal software on laptops
Jake replied to _Bat_'s topic in School ICT Policies
We restrict ours as in days gone past we have had a hell of a problem with staff installing games on the laptops and using them as toys for their children/relatives. For some peculiar reason they seem to be under the impression that the laptop is *theirs* and not the schools. In the past we have had all sorts on laptops when they returned to school, staff (I say staff..but more than likely its relatives that they have given the laptop to) have put everything on the laptops from games to cover CD software and even in one notable case 337 images of hardcore porn. Quite saddening to think that I cant trust someone who is in a career which in itself requires an enormous amount of trust. Since the restrictions have gone on though, no more issues , just a shame that you have to go as far as imposing restrictions on supposedly intelligent adults -
Same here as Webman, we dont have any which are specifically *for* students, we occassionally loan one out if someone has a broken wrist, or in some cases very heavily dyslexic students will use one for a lesson to do their work on instead of writing.

God lord ! How did I get out here again??? I swear someone must be moving me outside of it when I sleep :tries puppy eyed honest face: I would quite like the title Spatula to the Overlords. I am somewhat of the mindset that Portsmouth LEA are unlikely to give it to me, which is a shame, as I think in motivational terms it would be a great benefit. Much more likely though is the title of IT Technician or something equally less trouser spreading sounding

"very different" in a good way compared to Dorset? or in a bad way? (side note..for some reason Unitary made me think of Unitarian, which in turn made me think of someone shouting Unitarian in a very thick irish accent , not relevant to anything, but an interesting thought process on a monday morning nevertheless. Funny the things that go through your mind ! )
