Our LEA uses websense for our filtering, however, they seem to miss a hell of alot of stuff, so we filter stuff on our ISA server instead. Its just easier, more thorough and quicker than waiting for our LEA to block something, allows us to block any site instantly

Witch - Like I say in my post, I dont know why the last 10 years have made me more racist, I dont know whether its down to the media, and the constant crime or killings or terrorist actions or whatever I keep seeing on the media, or whether its the media brainwashing me into thinking more racist. Or whether its a perception (true or false) that I have developed over the 10 years. It may even be just a rebound reaction to the outrageous lengths that political correctness has reached in recent years, ridiculous things like not being able to have a golliwog on the side of a jampot, the BBC saying that they will never again show the famous "germans" episode of Fawlty Towers because of its racist content and this and that being racist, yet they are allowed the black music awards MOBO thing, cant help but wonder what would be said if they decided to have a white music awards..I really dont know why, all I know is that I catch myself saying alot more racist things these days than I did 10 years ago. We talk of things being sad and so forth...might I also suggest that I find it sad, and indeed disheartening in a thread where we bandy the term democracy so much that there seems to be so much venom towards people who choose to vote a way that someone disagrees with. Indeed Cheesedogs post inferring that if people think differently from the accepted norm should not even say it on a public forum just goes to show that my freedom isnt quite as free as I might think. This is my final post on this matter, I use this board as a nice piece of light hearted mucking around, with the occassional bit of technical help from time to time. I dont use this forum to debate politics, the rights and wrongs of personal opinions or indeed to in some way be frowned upon by the better-than-me masses who are disgusted with my outlooks on life and society. Now back to the fun

Surely that logic also applies against people who fought for the UK in any of countries where people fought against imperialistic british forces in the past? Every country has its history, every country has its sins committed in that history. Cant think of too many countries who have a clean sheet of goodness. How about if my relatives were German

I still agree with some of their policies. I'm not young, mid 30s..well..ok..not *that* young , so I consider myself to have a fair amount of experience of the world at large. Then again, everyone is different, everyone sees different problems with the country, and everyone has different remedies for those problems. Would be a boring boring UK if we were all the same, though admittedly it would make elections alot easier (to clarify, I should add that I probably am racist now. I wasnt 10 years ago, but if I was to be completely open and honest, I would have to confess that slowly over the last 10 years or so, the racist side of me has developed. Could be that it is down to the media, or could be that its down to a rightly/wrongly perception over the last 10 years, either way its where I am now. Perhaps in time it will dissolve again, who knows.)

I would be mildly happy to get rid of all politicians if I'm honest. I cant remember the last time I saw one actually tell the truth for longer than 10 mins, and watching interviews with them being asked a straight forward yes/no question is incredibly annoying as they do everything in their power to simply not answer the question. I personally dont think interviewers are tough enough on them, I would like to see interviewers keep on at them until they actually answer the question posed of them. Watching the houses of parliament at times is even worse..they behave like an unruly school class with their hoots and hollers and childlike booing and waving of papers. Pathetic. Utterly.

Funny survey though..BNP is level with Labour and not far behind Lib Dem...not sure what that tells us Perhaps that Labour has gotten that poor a following, or that Techs are more inclined to have BNP leanings, or just that its too small a census amount. Either way, its a funny stat

I dont view it as sad, I thought the idea of a democracy (not that strictly speaking we are a democracy anyway, but you get my point ) was to vote for the people who have policies that you agree with.

I was in the Beta for it for quite some time. Never really grabbed me. I got several characters up to around the early 20s, but it just seemed quite dull and samey. The graphics were fantastic though, and it did have a very good middle earth feel (aside from the horrible character animations). But as I say, it just didnt hold my attention. I found the gameworld pretty small, and I hated the fact that there was no mordor, no gondor, no rohan, no minas tirith etc in the game. I know they are saying they are adding those in later, but at what price I wonder..and in how long? Cause the thing is I am very much looking forward to Pirates of the Burning Sea MMO, which looks fantastic, and is a nice break from the elf-dwarf-wizard norm of these games...and I am even more looking forward to Warhammer Online, as I tend to enjoy PvP most in this genre. With those coming (as well as the utterly gorgeous looking Age of Conan), I just dont think I can justify myself waiting for them to add more content to LOTRO. I do think LOTRO will be a success...I think if anything does hinder it, it might be that boredom sets in fast (at least it did for me, and for some other veteran MMO players I know in beta), perhaps newer folks to the MMO scene will last longer though. Or possibly it might be a content issue which may pose a problem..Turbine after all did have a severe content problem with Dungeons and Dragons Online which caused many to leave, and LOTRO felt alot like it to me in beta.

We got a Massive air con system last year..and I mean massive, its about 6 foot long and attached to the wall near the ceiling. Turn it on full and it gets positively ICY in here. This will be the first summer that we have had it, I just know that every member of staff will be finding reasons to loiter in our office during the summer to make use of it

I would change the concrete (?) playing grounds into grass fields like schools around here used to have when I was a kid. I can only assume that the schools swapped away from having grass fields because maintenance is cheaper for concrete ones. I always feel that the kids are missing out by not having a grass playing field, I used to have a great laugh on our playing field in my youth

The x1950s are pretty decent cards, currently I am running a 768mb 8800Gtx, but prior to that I had an x1950 and was quite happy with it
