She was ill on Monday, threw up a couple times, but she seemed much better yesterday. Then today this. Hoping its just an intestinal infection or something, have to see what the Doc says.

Bit of an off topic thing, but I know that we have had many members who have young children. My little girl , Bethany (15 months), has today had blood in her poop. I scoured a few websites, and they pretty much all came up with a variety of possible causes. Anyone encountered this before?

So I am still fiddling about with various booking systems, seems I keep finding ones which do 80% of what I want, but then something crops up and my needs change. Does anyone know if there is a system out there which will allow me to make it so that certain teachers can only book certain rooms, so if we had IT rooms A,B,C and D , one particular teacher could book rooms B and C , but not A or D. But then a different teacher would be able to book A and B, but not C and D.... Sheesh..thats a bad explanation

As with a few others in this thread, we make our own. We have a few rolls of 300m of different colours, and we just whip up patch cables as and when we need them. Whenever we build a new IT suite from scratch (as we did last summer) or need to do a larger cable run we do all the cabling ourselves, and when you need a lengh of 13m 45cms, its useful to just be able to roll out some of the cable and make an exact length, nice and tidy

Our toilet CCTV was the last one we put in, we put it in after the school had just spent £120,000 getting all the school toilets done up during the summer, and 2 days after the start of the new term someone snapped the taps off the sinks in one of the boys toilets causing £4000 of total damage, after that SMT decided that we needed a camera in there.

Amazingly , I have never played Starcraft. Which considering how much of a gamer, and how long I have been gaming (since 1980), is remarkable. To be honest, I never judge something by what other people say, so it wouldnt matter to me. I judge things for myself rather than by what a reviewer says (be it a book/movie/game/product). Most software companies these days offer trials, I use those trials to try the stuff for myself rather than make a purchase decision based on a review. All the more so when it comes to work related stuff as every network is different and what works great on one persons setup might not necessarily work great on anothers. I tend to use this forum as light entertainment during the working day, and on occasion for problem solving, rather than as a review/opinion base for potential products. However you are right in one aspect though, I suspect I use this forum much more as a "chat" forum than anything else, especially given the ridiculously light hearted non-sensical nature of the vast majority of my posts. Given that, I have , if I was honest with myself, found myself wondering if this is really the right place for me. No doubt there are a few people who just largely ignore some of my posts because of their "daft" nature To be truthful, if all I am after is a place to get some joviality and an opportunity to mess about with some likeminded folks, there probably are other forums I should be rather than messing about on here detracting from more serious issues
