90% of our projectors our Epson and we've never seen this issue (yet) so hope it's just a bad batch and we're not affected! Hope the replacements dont end up the same way.

For me it's a bit too complicated to see how much things are as there are 8million different options per offering and the £0 are misleading and make me want to close the website and shop elsewhere I'm afraid.

If you change the CPU from 1 to 2 you will notice a huge difference - I know you say you dont want to, but it only takes a few moments to do and in my experience makes a huge difference in performance.

That's odd then as I would have thought they would have asked for the RAM and CPU as well - not sure why they would rule those items out and only ask for the motherboard to be sent back.

Shame they didnt get all the components from the same place else you could have just said it was crashing and send the whole lot back for them to sort out. Ideally you need to test the CPU and RAM etc. in a known working machine or use some software diagnostics to test in-situ.

I have a similar issue with my Intel NUC, with an older driver HDMI works fine, as soon as the latest driver (gets automatically installed via Windows) then it stops working. Intel are not offering a solution as it's an old graphics chip they dont support any more. I've had to buy a USB HDMI device and use that in Windows (I had to reinstall the OS, configure Remote Desktop and then install the new USB HDMI driver from there)! Uninstall the latest driver and try an older driver and see if it works then - if it does then you'll know it's a driver issue.

Any supplier should be able to get Dell Server RAM. AMC, PLAN-IT, ACS-365, Insight, Moon Computers, Total Computers, ServerSource, UK Computer Supplies...

As others have said, the best way it migration and an in-place upgrade is the last resort if nothing else works.

Check someone hasnt fiddled with the settings on the physical printer itself as there is an option to print multiple copies of what gets sent on the actual printer itself. The 'little rascals' did that here once!

As it's not practical to turn off all the servers to Inspect and Test the power cables so we do a Visual Inspection only. The PAT tester can make a note of this in their records. Never, ever PAT test a UPS they work differently to other electrical items (refer to manufacturers guide for a full explanation). If you get a new server then that's the time to PAT test/inspect the power lead and then visual inspections there after.

We have to send our Teachers home to access the Microsoft Store. All new Windows 10 1809 installations are partially in the US language as we do not have access to the Microsoft Store and some UK settings are downloaded from that shortly after the first log on - as we cannot access the Microsoft Store it constantly comes up interrupting lessons. The thing to do is create a new Staff Policy saying that CCTV in computer rooms cannot be used for disciplinary reasons. When you have CCTV you have to define what it's for (I think you even have to put up a sign saying who operates them and for what purpose (security, safety etc)) - so just says it's for safety and vandalism prevention or something along those lines.

Sadly, vandalism in computer suites and of computers in Schools/Academies is accepted by the SLT in most places. Both students and staff mistreat equipment with no repercussions. It's only taxpayers money after all...

Exactly. We had a similar issue so we just kept reporting it to the SLT link who kept telling us there was not much they could do about it. We kept reporting it and then went higher up the chain until we reached the top. That way, when we reached the top of the chain it wasnt like we had missed out people below them so not going above anyone so to speaks. As soon as the head saw the amount of damage they called a whole school assembly and laid down the law. it has dropped dramatically since then.

There should be a switch to overwrite existing drivers so make sure you are using that.

Rings. It's all about rings. You each have your own ring, sometimes one ring for upstairs and one for downstairs. Most powerline adaptors need to be on the same ring. You cant use your nextdoor neighbours ring. Nor anyone else's ring in your street. If you do use someone else's ring it's called steeling and you will be using their electricity.

If that was true then it would mean your meter is not just connected to to all the ones in your street but all meters on the National Grid.
