Yeah we had a review talking about a letter that had gone out was disgusting etcs and more recently one claiming her child was being bullied. Really not the correct platform to get the issue resolved!! Parents name has been passed on to the right staff, then we've had kids reviewing 1 star and leaving no comment... I hated the reviews section. I'm glad it's gone! Hah!

Posts and comments are 2 different things. I have all that stuff set up already. I could manually hide comments, but there have never been any bad ones, just people tagging family members. Think it would be a shame to stop it to be honest.

Yeah that's set - so people can't post to my page. People can comment on my posts though. That's what the head wants turning off... I'll see if she can find the name of the company first, see how much it costs and then put forward my suggestion.

Been e-mailed by the head about a company who can set you up on Facebook and page posts can only be liked and not commented on. We haven't had any bad messages... just reviews with people ranting. I've disabled reviews today by changing the category that the page is in to other: community. Looking deeper, I've found the only way to disable comments is to add an extensive blocked word list within settings. Am I assuming this is how said company do this? Seems a bit cheeky to charge schools to do something so simple! Anyone else heard about people doing that?

Check all the BIOS settings and make sure PXE boot is enabled. I know on the older machines it used to be disabled Even if it shows in the boot order it won't boot unless it is enabled somewhere else, usually in hardware or advanced.

It said when I started installing it about needing 3.5... it's downloading and installing now. It appears to be a Windows Feature... hmmm.

No... I'm downloading .net 3.0 now though You'd think MS would code something in to recognise the later versions of .net framework though...

Has anyone tried installing this on Windows 10? Just having a go now and it wants .net framework 3.0... I say, yes install away! but the link is broken.

watch them around iPad / LearnPad cases. Mine are all labelled and they just tore them off with no consideration for this! I spent many the hour getting them back on correctly!

Yeah they can. Litters the hard drive. You could defrag machines, but its quicker to just delete them! I wonder if an SSD would have the same problems....

So a local profile saves all the app data to the C: drive in users\%username% Roaming profiles save app data to the server. Each time you log on the machine has to pull this data across. Basically all of your settings follow you. Desktop background, program settings, outlook settings etc. What I tend to do with local profiles (that's what we have here with folder redirection) is move them to a folder called Old Profiles (JUST INCASE!) then I delete the registry entries in HKLM - Software - Microsoft - Windows NT - Current Version - Profile List. Thanks. I'm wondering whether to just put on the Confidential Shared area that only 4 people access... I just don't know! Just exploring the possibilities at the moment. I think this would be a lot easier with Google!!

I've watched your videos. I like them. I'm new to watching people game. Mr Pete has a youtube channel and you have to work really hard to get subs. As Duranis said you have to spam social media and add loads of gamer people. Eventually people start contacting you to team up. Pete has been contacted by quite a few other golf vloggers and he has done some teamed up stuff. He's also been contacted by clothing companies and stuff, asking him to check out their range and whatnot. If you are prepared to put the work in, you can get a lot out of it. It does take a lot more time than first expected! Give yourself subscriber targets too. Say you want 50 subs before the end of May and hound social media. Those are my tips. I think the little funny text bits you put in are great too. Those are what will keep me watching anyways

I'm looking into moving our shared areas to Sharepoint. I'm just messing around with a test area. I figure that you have sharepoint and no server because after doing some reading, I found out it wasn't possible to sync the server to the cloud... although I think it should be! Unless I use onedrive instead? But then that will probably get messy... I've tried to map my sharepoint as a drive within file explorer, but I get an error saying it needs to be added as a trusted site (which it is) and then I need to set it to auto-login. Can't find anything for auto login... currently this is all just a bit of messing. Mainly because the head has rubbish internet at home and the remote access is pretty much unusable for her. Has anyone successfully swapped over to sharepoint for shared areas?
