  1. I don't spose you still have the driver for this? Darn HP Probook 6565b laptops have been a nightmare.
  2. We bought new HP Probook 6565b laptops with Realtek 8168 chipsets. I have several dos drivers and I am unable to make a functional boot stick. I then bought Syba expresscards, one with realtek 8111 chipset and one with an agere chipset. I have tried creating a boot stick with these dos drivers also and nothing works. Both Realteks come back with no ethernet adapter found and the agere comes back with a driver error. I am able to get the agere working through WinPE, but that is not preferred due to the longer boot. I can't even get either Realtek to work with WinPE. I was hoping the expresscard would be a single solution to multiple models of laptops, but they don't seem to be working out well. I am using Ghost 11.5 (Suite 2.5).
  3. I just added the one line to the logon batch file. %windir%\system32\icacls.exe %homedrive%\Desktop.ini /deny "All-Staff":r I set it to deny read permission to all staff, so any staff that browse to the directory see the proper filename. You can change that to be domain admins or whomever you want. I have found no downfalls.
  4. When I build an image I just remove it from the account I create the image with and then if you set the profile to copy during sysprep, no user will have that folder.
