cheers, the slideshow thingy needs a bit of a tweak, i need to crop the pics first as if i reduce the height to 300px it cuts heads off etc, job for later i think lol cheers again

i am going to tidy the logos later today. i have tried to stick to two fonts, a serif font and a sans serif font the email pages dont show the addresses instead take you to a email form page, no captcha tho. supprisingly very little spam.

when the site was orignally created in 2007 the code was valid, but as it has bloated it is not valid any more. moving to joomla so that will fix that

its not a template, all hand with a custom backend in asp.... moving to joomla in the next month tho. the head just wanted a refresh now

one of our science teachers wants to advertise the 'all new' science club via staff screensaver. does anyone know a free PPT to SCR package? or another quick way of making a screensaver?

only one use showing as being logged in, there are only two accounts and i have changed the pw for both to somehting really complex i am confused also the latest J! 1.5.22

when i login to the backend the changes are there also, so different browser wont help, i have called the hosting company and they are not doing anything

at present one of my sites frontpage articles keep changing, as in when you go to article manager there are several ticked to be front page - when i change them back 10 mins later there are several selected again. i have changed the admin passowrd to something crazy long and am just remoing write access to every folder on ftp has any one any ideas??? EDIT: whilst typing this it happened again

I am currently in the process of doing the preliminary work to creating the new school site in Joomla! I know some ppl dont want us to know where you are but those who arnt fussed i would appreciate some inspiration. Also if anyone wants to share any useful plugins etc??? that would be great!

currently getting underway with moving to joomla and am looking what extensions i need. one feature required is a link on the home page 'newsletter' which links to the current newsletter. they also want the old ones archiving. anyideas currently i have to modify a link eachtime a newsletter is uploaded (when i remember)

SOLVED!!!!!!!! HAVING DONE A SEARCH ON THE INTERNETZ AGAIN, SOMEONE SAID UNPLUG YOUR MS WIRELESS MOUSE. After i did this it worked fine and dandy...... what a waste of a day (i have been doing many other things but still)

i have set policies in user config> admin templates> control Panel/personalization to enable password protect screen saver time out: 600 prevent changing screensaver enable screensaver force specific screen saver: mystify.scr with the scope filtering of authenticated users, domain users, users but nothing (expect now the screensaver is disabled/greyed out, all my other policies are cool any ideas???? btw: server 2008r2 with w7 clients edit: right click on personalize is showing the screen saver is set and the time out is correct and they are greyed out as i would expect .... but nothing

is vmware player free for education in the faq it says free for personal, non-comercial use but doesnt mention edu??? do we have to pay? if so is there a free alternative? cheers

if i pull the network cable i can get into windows fine and view the event log but there is nothing that says 'im shutting the computer down' its just service x starting service y starting service z starting servoce x stopping etc

Greetings, i am currently rebuilding some admin stations with win 7. the first 3 went great (even 5 and 7 did); but 4 and 6 didnt (repeatdly) so from the top; install windows, serial, join domain reboot there are several GPOs install office install Symantec Endpoint Protection map drives set proxy [these all work] install SIMS [sims hates me] upon reboot it just continues to reboot over and over and over (can hear the noise of it whirling now doing a reboot) what bugs me is i have just been upstairs and build a admin station on vmplayer and it worked installed sims the lot. its not like i have broke something half way thru as 2 stations built fine whilst otehrs havent any ideas??? even a tool or something so i can see whats making it reboot????? its 7pm and im still in work, time for my coat and a call at the ale house! ps arrrrggghh

does recuva restore the folder structure? i didnt think it did?

need some good free file recoverysoftware to recover a folder and all subfolders (and files) leaving the folder structure in tact any ideas?
