  1. Hello, Any update on this, i am getting the same with W10 - 64 and office 2016 X-64.
  2. Hello, I have taken the dive and i've created a 10.9 image to replace our old 1.5 and 10.6 images. To do this I also updated our 10.5 server to 10.9, on first glances everything look lovely and seemed to be working. I am using deploy studio to roll out our image and AD and OD connect it, this is working well and is bound to each, it also rolls our the trust and enrolment profiles (great I hear you all say)!! I am not stuck and think that its a bug somewhere! The machines build and are all placed (correctly named) in the web Profile manager, however they are only placeholders?! So I log into each machine and enrol them manually. Some work and get re-named to "originalname$" as you can see it adds a dollar sign after them? Some dont enrol at all and error! Anyone got any ideas? I am really struggling and running our of time too! Thanks in advance .... "ANGRY" - AKA - Ollie Xserve, OS X Mavericks (10.9.4)
  3. Hi, Setup terminal services and it works very well. However I would like to set it up so that it uses local resources of for instance "word" instead of using the "remoteApp" version of it. Does anyone know how to do this or indeed if its possible? Ollie
  4. Hows it all going on Access-IT? Just we are looking at getting it.
  5. Shall do. Thanks.
  6. Oh really? Oliver just look so bad and runs like a dog too! I dont feel confident with either of them to be honest! I think their is a niche in the market for a new build here!
  7. Hello All, Please help and save me! We currently use Oliver as our library system. We are on V3.4 and are well out of date! The library department are looking at a new system and have asked us in IT to look at the technical side of things. I can help but notice that the two they have chosen seem very expensive for frankly no real gain! The two contenders are: Oliver (latest version): - About 5K one off purchase. - About 1K per year support. - Their test website is only designed to work on about 19" screens as the whole website is an overlayed image. The answer from support was to use IE to zoom in until the links work! - Their iPad version links through to their web page making it impossible to use. Eclipse: - Their website look good and works reasonable well. - Their is concern about their support behind the scenes. The bottom line is, I can't believe that in this day and age their are only 2 systems geared up to schools! Any suggestions? Recommendations? Ollie
  8. Hello All, I hope that someone is going to be able to help us! We are a school that has also embarked on the IOS craze! (not sure why). Basically we have purchased some iPad mini's and we need to lock them down. I have used Apple Configurator to do this but it is nowhere near enough to allow us to give them tot he kids in banks. I ahve disabled most of the apps ect but they can still get to most of the settings! The issue we have is that this mean that every 2 min we have someone bringing them to us saying "this isn't working" or " this has a custom background" or "this is called ****" I can come and visit if someone would be kind enough to show me their site/locked down iPad?
