  1. That was my reasoning as well. I thought wow you get paid loads just to do a few bins one morning a week, where do I sign up?
  2. SNAP!! I even had a long conversation with the Binman that did our bins when I was about 8, on the job and everything. Didn't happen though. Now it's a software engineer, and I am now 1 step closer!!
  3. Make the teachers book out the ICT Suite so you know which teacher was in there last, and at the end of the lesson check, and if anything is broken bill there department. They will soon get told off by there budget holders for there department and will start monitoring the kids more like they should be doing in the first place.
  4. Have you tried you security settings in IE as you could have it set to be blocking iframes? Internet Options -> Security, try having a play about with them as if you have it to high might be stopping it?
  5. Damn beat me to it, I just got that
  6. That's what I get when I go on it, and the slider works fine.
  7. Oh well that makes more sense than when I BINGED!! it and came up with an online pet store, I got a little confused
  8. BING IS THE FUTURE!! What the hell is Fetch? Or am I being an idiot?
  9. Tried it in chrome and it works fine. Plus my IE works fine, so might be some settings you have set.
  10. Can't I Bing it?
  11. I've been wanting to try it for ages, but I have no idea where to begin looking for a site. Is there a website with loads of different sites around the country etc so I can have a look for one? Thanks
  12. At one of my primary schools they have just purchased 3: Dell Latitude 15 5000 E5540 39.6 cm (15.6") LED Notebook - Intel Core i5 i5-4310U 2 GHz 4GB of RAM, not sure of HDD space as my line manager sourced them. £535.84 each Plus 4GB RAM module to install myself £20.57 each. Pretty sure that includes 3yrs NBD warranty. I love Dell, they last the time (One of my primary schools is still rocking a trolley of D520's as they have no money, and it runs okay to be honest).
  13. I just swapped to an Android phone at the start of the week, as Windows 10 developer preview wasn't really filling me with much hope, and glad I made the move now
  14. Okay now I feel like an idiot, I swear it wasn't there a minute ago!
  15. I had a look at the Chrome policies that I added to group policy but I couldn't find it in them, so either I have some outdated policies or I'm being blind. Do you mind saying where they are located? Thanks
  16. How do you set Google chrome as a default browser via GPO?
  17. Have a word with @witch about your CV she helped me do mine and honestly it is amazing!
  18. If it wasn't miles away from me would be the perfect job for me. Sorry
  19. I saw one of your posts the other week about learnpads, as when I looked at them a few years ago they weren't particularly great, but my schools have already invested a lot into iPads etc, so don't really want to have a mixture of two. If I get a job at another school that don't have tablets yet, I probably will go learnpad route
  20. Mine got delivered to my house this morning so can't wait to get home and have a play about with my first android phone So let's hope I can update it when I turn it on
  21. I manage over a hundred iPads spread across my schools, some in trolleys and some in cabs. At one school I have just started using Casper Suite which seems to work well and does everything I need it to. I also have Foldr so they can access there Documents and shared drives either from iPad or from home (Well worth the cost I think). The downfall with android tablet's is how will you manage them and push apps to them, as when I was looking last year I couldn't find anything that could do it, yet iPads there and loads out there that work okay. What sort of management solution are you looking for as that might give us an understanding so we can suggest something else
  22. Just found this and I think it looks like so much fun Who else agrees?
  23. That's one of the reasons I just brought it as was still debating weather or not to buy it. So have the decent screen protector, clear case and the OTG cable. Still really gutted that the bamboo cover is no longer for sale - - - Updated - - - Wow thanks!! that's loads for me to look at and they sound perfect and really use full so glad I asked now
  24. Thanks I will have a look into that, looks interesting
  25. Thanks for your replies, think I understand Android a lot more now and kind of regretting not making the move sooner, but I have just purchesed my OPO so hopefully will have that and I can start messing about and installing the apps you have suggested
