  1. Hi Kili, We had an Aruba wireless network installed at a multi site college i used to work at. From what I remember it had quite a complicated admin web interface but was very reliable and done pretty much anything you could wish for. We had multiple vlans and guest access, think it was a bit pricey though... I've also worked with Ruckus like many of the other guys on these forums which in my opinion is very simple, cheap and does a great job for a small/medium network. Matt
  2. I've just posted my network monitoring application in the downloads forum. http://www.edugeek.net/showthread.php?t=109071 It checks the cpu, memory and disk usage of windows servers. I have only just released it so if you do try it please let me know if you come across any issues ....its called Pigcat ... http://www.pigcat.co.uk
  3. Thanks for your response Steven. I have used many network monitoring applications in the past and found the majority of them over complicated so you end up wasting time looking at information you didnt want to know in the first place. Pigcat simply tells you if a device is up or down and displays basic server performance info aswell. It's worth mentioning that you do need a dedicated machine for Pigcat as the browser needs to be left running on the Pigcat page to poll the devices. A chromium based browser is recommended
  4. www.Pigcat.co.uk Pigcat is a free network monitoring application created by myself. It uses PHP/MYSQL and is packaged with a web server. The aim was to create a very simple network monitor that I can check on my phone and displays the status of all websites, servers and network devices I'm responsible for. Main Features: Monitor any network device that responds to a ping request Monitor Windows Server CPU, Memory and Disk usage via WMI Monitor websites actual uptime by checking for text on the page Interactive graphs for historic data Mobile friendly interface Secure settings section Feel free to give it a try and let me know if you have any issues.
