I really enjoyed the recent Batman trilogy, but felt the first was the best of the lot. As for Man of Steel, I really loved it. It was the first 'serious' attempt, or perhaps intelligent attempt at telling the Superman story as a movie. I'm really looking forward to the Batman / Superman film based on the quality of MOS alone.

I missed the 10GB bit, not sure if the SFP ports will take a module for 10GB or not. They may do though.

You could always go for a 1910-24G (gig to every port and pretty cheap). They are really re-badged 3com units, but great switches. They also do a 48port version of the same switch. Slight update to this. The dept I run is looking like it will be re-structured and two separate new roles created to replace my old one. Nope. Remember Office365 is external to your organisation, so it doesn't know about or is linked to your domain (in its simplest form). You can get more complicated setups using ADFS etc.. but it's not necessary.

I did think that initially also, doesn't look like it's featured on snopes.com though. Also, this is an alert on Northants police website based on actually incidents recently (or so we are lead to believe)

Is using Outlook not an option? It works brilliantly with that. Standard look and feel for all our staff and it's much better than using it web based.

No problems reported by any users today with us and it all seems to be working fine.

You listened to a recruitment exec? We recently upgraded all our switches to HP Procurve across the board (1GB to every port now). We also upgraded our servers (we have a lot of spare capacity - 8 twin xeon servers, each with 96GB Ram). It's mainly Server 2012 installed on those servers to act as Hyper-V hosts. (we are using Hyper-V version 3 and it's new replication features) Most of our old legacy CC3 servers have now been virtualised and we'll be moving over to a vanilla Server 2008 domain / Windows 7 workstations setup over the summer. We also have a new dedicated backup solution we implemented recently which has an 15TB disk array linked to an LTO5 backup drive and uses Data Protection Manager 2012. ps Forgot to mention that we use Office365 for all staff and student email (another outdated technology )

Thought the document looked pretty good, but as others have said some more info on the products would have been nice. If you'd like some general feedback, I think you guys try a bit too hard at being 'zany' or a bit crazy etc... Some of the vids you have posted here like the prize draw ... I like some of the products you have to offer and am currently considering whether or not to buy a suite of PC's from you. The 'were a bit crazy' routine that comes across here puts me off though. Some may like it and find it endearing, to me it makes me quite wary ...

All our staff connect to it via Outlook 2010, so the look and feel is always consistent. Not heard feedback if the students don't like it, but not that bothered in that regard.

It works just fine on VirtualBox, just a shame that it's no real improvement on 8 in my opinion.

It wasn't obvious where to download it from within Technet at first. But if you go to the main home page, then click on Subscriber Downloads, it's then obvious where to grab it. It's listed as Windows Client 8.1 Preview NEW!

Downloaded it via Technet this morning. The interface is still as shockingly sh**e as it was before, or so it seems. Not had a chance to have a proper play yet.

Much the same as a few others here. Intending to switch from CC3 to vanilla MS setup in the summer. Already have the infrastructure in place and are using Server 2012 for Hyper-V v3 etc... Not sure if we'll bother with SCCM yet but are already using MDT ready for the various ICT suite upgrades.
