This entry level role involves supporting schools in Hertfordshire both onsite and via the Service Desk. When supporting schools onsite, you will be travelling around Hertfordshire to provide a range of ICT support services on weekdays, within business hours (i.e. 9am – 5pm). On the Service Desk you will be providing high quality support via telephone, email and the ICT Service Desk Portal, accurately logging requests and incidents, ensuring they resolved in a timely manner or escalated to senior colleagues if appropriate. This is currently taking place remotely due to Covid-19. We are seeking a proactive individual who is keen to learn about new technologies, likes to solve problems, and is willing to be exposed to technical issues and equipment from the get go. This is a customer facing role which requires attention to detail, excellent troubleshooting techniques and exceptional customer services skills. Previous technical experience would be beneficial, however for the right candidate full training is available. https://www.hertsforlearning.co.uk/about-us/join-our-team

We are back to the drawing board too After a rebuild, disabling macros did not fix the issue
-
We are finally making some progress with this! We have 5 schools with the issue, all RM CC4, Windows 10, Word 2016. The problem appears to be with Macro security settings. At the moment we can only run the reports with absolutely all macro security turned off in Word. We are now rebuilding the machine, to start trying to work out which setting is key to the issue... I'll post again when we know more

Release 4 of the February upgrade was not so bad

osql -SSERVER\SIMSSQL2005 -E -n -Q"sp_password @old =null, @new= 'NewSAPassword1#' , @loginame = 'sa'" This command assumes that The server name is SERVER The instance name is SIMSSQL2005 The sa username is sa The new sa password is NewSAPassword1# Hope this helps!

You could try looking in System Manager at Tools/Access Log. It can be a bit like looking for a needle in a haystack though unless you can narrow it down to a particular date range.
-
The main problem with renaming, is that each workstation has a line in the Sims.ini file which looks to the UNC path of the Setups folder, so this needs to be amended to reflect the new server name.
