what is it with my hesitation with things being cloud based...(not my personal stuff). Bizarre. Guessing that has a price implication though. Still a good suggestion.

As part of my Performance Management (laughs hysterically) I've suggested that I will sort out our file management (the stuff available to all staff). I was looking for some sort of document storage with a GUI front I guess, where I can control who uploads to where etc. I made something in Drupal for Uni but wouldn't trust anything i'd made lasting too long. Wondering if a Wiki could do something like that? I need it to be simple for the staff to just pick up and use. I'd just host it internally. Biggest issue is it needs to be free or cost as little as possible. Any ideas?

Every year our school holds a Pancake decorating competition. I've only had a quick look but this one caught my eye and is by far one of the most original i've seen in the 4 years of being here. Yes that's right. It's Barbie in a Pancake dress. Move over Lady Gaga...

Wasn't in work today but yes it's a win7 machine so I'm pretty sure Offline Files will still be enabled as the staff are admins of their machines. Will check that.

Maybe buy a load of the devices for each room? I.e the voting device or the tablets?

What @SYNACK said. Don't get me wrong, there are some good little touches in 8. But I just feel they've tried too hard to squish a tablet and PC OS into one.

The only error within SIMS is a dialog box containing the title of this thread...

May try local storage permissions as reinstall didn't work. The main report she was trying to run was a class list someone had created. Definitely a machine issue as she is ok elsewhere. ... :/

I've got 3 different models of that range. They get used daily and we haven't had any of those issues! O.o
