2 types of teachers. teacher 1- has always worked in schools and therefore has no people communication skills. sometimes i think it should be them that does pshe and not the kids. teacher 2 - has worked in industry and has life experience with comunicating with diffrent people. Who appreciate how hard things can be at times and know when to be patient and are always extremely greatfull.

I work 8:30 to 16:30 except friday i finish at 16:00 I only take work home with me once in a blue moon and I always get paid the overtime. I'm studying towards mcse 2k3 so no time to geek around with work stuff

thats bad classroom management. I had to replace a network point on the wall behind a pc because some lads decided it would be fun to shove each over in to the computer.

I have actually walked out of an interview after been told they use cc3.

I would just ask them what their game is, I cant stand people when they start acting like 2 year olds.

god can't they take your advice and get on with it.

I would have more ram in the laptops, 256mb is not enough for running XP and video editing

Is it possible to extract an msi file. make changes to a .ini file and then repackage the msi file again?

Ever since we setup k: drive to be a network share on the machines for sims under the staff accounts, we have been unable to access usb drives. we used to be able to access the drives on the k drive, but now nothing appears in my computer. I've been in to the registry and tried changing the drive letter for mass storage devices but this only works for that particular drive. here is the drive structure in my computer A: FLOPPY C: SYSYTEM DRIVE D: CD-ROM DRIVE E,F,G,H, and I are virtual drives for the multimedia server. Network drives K: Sims R:Resource S: user mydocuments is the a simple fix, do i need to edit the NTuser.man hive so all staff can pick up USB drives. cheers

apparently its still under warranty, so its getting shiped off for repair in couple of days. Happy days again. will let you all now what the problem was when i get it back with the engineers report. just for future reference

Same here, but what has worked once before was taking out the keyboard, and replacing it with another one (from another broken down viglen dossier laptop) and it suprisingly was up and running again. thats intresting What made you think that it could be the keyboard?

i have a geforce4 mx 440, think its 128mb card. it plays windows good enough. i dont have time for games so no need for anything silly

By any small chance is it a viglen dosier XT laptop? lol I have one sat on my desk with the same symptons
