I will have a chat with my neighbour tonight, he worked for NTL/virgin for a number of years on the broadband side as an engineer at HQ in the north east. Will ask him what he thinks, and how it could be done.

is her husband on a N and not a b,g network conx to router? what brand is the router? who is there internet provider? what type of net conx is it? if she is connecting using b or g then like joanne said other devices in the home will be interfeering i.e wireless home phone, door bells.

we had SIMS setup other the summer and drive mapping is used also.... is this old way of doing sims setup?

there are vaccum cleaning devices that are designed for that job... you dont use a normal vuccum cleaner do you? :-)

dont touch pads dissable when a mouse is plugged in? I’m asking this because I was called to HT office to sort a wee problem, and when i went to use the touch pad it wouldn't work, quickly noticed he had a USB mouse attached i used that, then out of curiosity I detached the mouse to make sure the pad worked... which it did.
