Hi All, I am looking at upgrading our RDS server 2012 to server 2016. we have a few published app. I also like to implement RDS client to publish SIMS. Has anyone done this?

Happy to report everything is now working after countless hrs and days of testing.my lab had two PCs and two laptops. For anyone adding Windows 10 to Win 7 environment you will need Wim filters to apply GPO to either 7 or 10.my startmenu was being broken by C drive Permission GPO.

If any manages to get this working with Edu 1903, pls let us know, our Win 7 works fine

Happening in my test lab(Windows 10 Edu 1903), Same on brand new Dell machine with OEM someone help lol definitely not MS. Microsoft why not make life easy ....... If anyone has more update pls share, I had to reset all the Dell machines and remove them from the network.

@AndyB4rks, how did you get on this project?Im looking at doing the same. Did you move SIMS,exchange,SQL etc. Did you get any help from Capita? or any third parties suppliers?

Hi, Manage to fix this issue after reading countless docs online(problem was with MS guide) best to create your certificates(.cer and pfx) first if you are following microsoft guide and documentation. RDP HTML 5 working on server 2016. I will spin a server 2019 and configure that as well. I hope to create a guide for this.

Hi, I am trying to open my published app (SIMS) on HTML client and I am getting the connection to the remote PC was lost.This might be because of a network connection problem. The happen shortly after remote port flash on the client, I am able to use the RDP client fine but not the RDS HTML client. Anyone knows how I can fix this issue. Thanks

Has anyone experience this start menu issue? user returned the machine after some days with missing start menu and just W, S tiles and microsoft office tiles empty but with P-Microsoft. When I first logon as Admin, everything was fine but subsequent sign in had same issue.
