  3. Hello I understand there are some issues regarding the length of connection that an iPAD or similar can maintain to a Clevertouch using the CleverShare software. I know some people use Apple TVs to overcome this problem, but is there an alternative software solution that any of you guys have found that will allow you to display iPAD content without it falling out please? If it worked for other platforms too, even better! Would welcome your experiences. Regards Dave

  5. We are looking into a signature solution too. Currently, we use Exchange 2013 and have used the transport rules. I have put some HTML in there along with some images, but it seems that some ISPs don't like that, and block our emails. Having looked at the Symprex website, there doesn't appear to be a UK reseller. Is it an expensive solution?

  7. Thanks for your comprehensive answer, Jmac. From what I understand, the latest ones don't physically need to plug in to charge, which might be of help in overcoming the wear on the charging socket. Regards, Dave
  8. We are looking at a suite of 24 Learnpads for our Junior School. Up until now, we have been quite happy with the Samsung 8" Android Tabs, which we wiped and installed the Learnpad software on them. However, I am advised that Learnpad have now blocked this, and the only way to use their software is to buy their hardware as well. With VAT, their machines come in at a price not that far below something like an iPAD mini. We want something that is easy to use and control, and were happy with the original Learnpad solution, but our hand is now being forced because of a change of policy from Learnpad. Are any of you using the new Learnpads with wireless charging? (no doubt the total price is big because of the bespoke cabinet and chargers too). Thanks in anticipation Dave
  9. We have a mixture of C-Touch (about a year old) and CleverTouch, and I think the Clevertouch boards are far better. They are all pretty robust these days in terms of front of screen impact etc. Any light scratches could probably be taken out with Brasso or similar, but we have not experienced that problem. In terms of build quality there is little to choose. In aesthetics, I think the Clevertouch screens look nicer, but in terms of the software, the bundled stuff you get (and the ease of use) with Clevertouch blows the C-Touch out of the water. We even had a demo of the new release for CV-Touch, which looked worse than the original! As for the built-in android, it is a little early to say how useful it is, but certainly it allows the user to work on the screen straight away without having to log on to a computer, and if you have a Wi-Fi dongle plugged in, you can download stuff from Google Play. I agree with RichP and in answer to the OP, sound can be a little quiet in an active classroom, so a sound bar should be considered. One for the CV-Touch is 500 quid!
