  1. Hi guys, having a bit of a odd error. Unable to send or receive mail from Hotmail or live accounts. Have a LA run mail filter that I have access to and on tracing shows rejected with could not complete sender verify. Have checked my settings and have disabled verify to no affect. NS lookup show the following C:\Users\mnott>nslookup -query=mx hotmail.com Server: **.hazeleyacademy.internal Address: 10.85.120.210 DNS request timed out. timeout was 2 seconds. *** Request to ad1.hazeleyacademy.internal timed-out all other mail sites are fine. Have checked my DNS record and that is correct and their have been no changes. Any ideas guys. Thanks. Matt
  2. Shirt and ties for my team. I wear a suit as the manager. Not expensive ones. It's shoe leather I go through building is quarter of a mile long. Did request if we could have a uniform (had one at a previous school) but was told it would set a president for other support staff.
  3. Don't have any solid figures. But we went from 12 physical servers to 3 virtual physical servers hosting at the last count 23 servers :-). All the little programs we have SIMs cashless catering etc all now have there own servers. Air on now does not have to work so hard and is turned up slightly as well.
  4. Wednesday for me to.
  5. Big hugs here also. You were there for him when he needed you as he was there for you when you needed him. I'm not particularly religious but this poem says it all for me "Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together.... Author unknown... " Will give my guys especially big hugs tonight.

  11. We have 4 Samsung 51" in our portakabins. Not bought by me and have no VGA connectors ( had to use converters) main problem with them is reflection from sunlight acts like a mirror also students to the side of the classroom have trouble seeing Currently looking at replacing whiteboards with screens but not convinced
  12. Recently had Impero installed. Staff using it only have access to the rooms they teach. Myself and my staff have access to the entire network along with the Principal. Just wanted to cover ourselves in the acceptable use policy. Something along the lines of screens may be viewed at any time. Any staff who deal with CP don't have it on their machines. Anyone have this covered in their policy's ?

No holiday for me this summer over 600 machines to rebuild but it will be worth it in the end.
  17. http://www.malamuterescue.org.uk/ http://www.sharerescue.co.uk/ As a home checker there are a lot of things we look for. Such as security, experience suitability etc. one of the major questions is length of time left during the day. Most resuce require that they are left no longer than four hours. I know that dogs trust are very strict on there home checking policy.
  18. Would reiterate what has been said about these breeds. Both need daily grooming and lots of exercise. Being working dogs also have lots of energy. Lots of rescue organisations out there. That are looking for owners like you :-) ( I do home checks for several in my area) I have two dogs a Suluki and a lurcher. Spend about £25 on food a month and £100 on boosters a year. Mine are to old to insure but need to budget for that as well. Vets are expensive my last visit for an injury cost £150. Good luck and hope you find your canine companion.
