  1. I see your cat on a roomba and raise you a cat in a shark costume on a roomba;
  2. They've logged out and in a few times as it's been over a week now since I changed the setting. I've also messaged quite a few of them about various things.
  3. I've been emailing Lenovo every now and then and they've always just come back with "We have no progress but are investigating" type emails. Today when I sent them another poke they asked me what the problem was, which was a little frustrating, but I told them what it was. They then replied again asking for serial numbers and proof of purchase, which I sent them in September but re-sent today anyway, and then they replied *again* asking if they could have a unit to test! I am now just going to reply saying "We've fixed this now, you can close the call" and leave it at that. Or does anyone have any better suggestions? Four months!!!!
  4. Still not appearing. Anyone got any thoughts as to what I missed please?
  5. A teacher has just sent me this mouse they'd like; https://www.amazon.co.uk/Anker-Wireless-Vertical-Ergonomic-Optical/dp/B00BIFNTMC/ I spotted a mistake on it, see if you can see it..........
  6. I can think of several much better places for that........
  7. I've turned on the auto-attendance report (I believe!) but it isn't appearing. From what I've read it should appear automatically a few minutes after a meeting has finished. I have checked my global policy and my teacher one and both have "AllowEngagementReport" as "Enabled". Anyone else using it? What did I miss? https://www.jumpto365.com/blog/how-to-use-the-new-attendance-report-in-microsoft-teams-meetings Thank you Stuart
  8. Putting aside the fact that Jack Whitehall seems to be on these posters...... "Legal enquires"?
  9. Thanks for the responses, but it looks like you can only do it if you have the calendar function in Teams, which you only get if your emails are in the cloud. Ours aren't (on-site Exchange) but it's something I'm working on at the moment!
  10. "A Office 365 Enterprise E1, E3, or E5 license or a Office 365 A3 or A5 license." We only have A1 licences
  11. Thanks, but I can't see anything in there about setting up a chat that means people can ask questions, but us as the organisers are the only people who actually see them. We feel if we invite parents to ask questions, some won't if they think everyone can see it is them who is asking.
  12. Is it possible to set up a Teams meeting where only the organiser can see questions which are posted? We're thinking of doing an "Open Evening" like we do every year, but obviously virtually this year and we'd like parents to ask questions but without all the other parents seeing the questions. Stuart
  13. Thank you. I just had this problem 13 years later and this fixed it!
  14. Just a bump to remind people this is still a thing!
  15. Hi all, I've changed a setting on the meeting policy called "Education_Teacher". Do I then need to go to the "Group Policy Assignment" tab and give my group "All Staff" that policy, or does the system already know that my teachers should get it because they are teachers? There are times Teams seems to know staff are staff, and times when it doesn't. Thank you Stuart
  16. Which I don't have available to me as a choice........ Bum..... Thank you
  17. I'm obviously missing something in the licensing, but when my staff log in to http://www.office.com and click "Install Office", they are only offered Skype! When the students do it, they can install Office. What do I need to change? Under "Licenses and Apps" the staff have "Office 365 A1 for Faculty" assigned to them. Students have "Office 365 A1 Plus for Students". Thank you Stuart
  18. Been nearly 10 years now!
  19. Yup, it worked everywhere except the Teams app and Teams in the browser.
  20. Worked, thanks. Bizarre that it works for everything except Teams.....
  21. Teams will not see the webcam in my HP G4 450 laptops. The really odd thing is that both the app or accessing via Chrome won't see it! Zoom sees the camera, so the camera works, and other things in Chrome can see the camera. Any ideas please? I've gone in to Settings -> Privacy -> Camera, and the camera is on. Should Teams appear under the "Choose which apps can access your camera"?
  22. Life saver, thank you! Stuart
  23. I have just found that a member of staff who wanted to leave a lot of Teams has deleted the Team instead of leaving it. I have found this article from 2017 to restore a team; https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/archive/blogs/skypehybridguy/restoring-a-deleted-team-in-microsoft-teams But is that really still the only way? I have loads to do! Stuart
  24. Well this is what it threw back at me once it finished; Shame you have to re-run the wizard and that there isn't just a "Retest" button once they are resolved! Anyway, cracking on.........
