  2. When it comes to it not matter what reports what it shows is how leaving 'just reports' in a shop can cause you whole load of mess. So what would happen if students sen details where left in the shop etc Highlighting the article will help staff understand the need for the new guidance. Russ
  3. My own view that with Karoshi there just no need for it as was pointed out in recent thread this need to folk linux can mean that we just have to many versions. I think effort is best served with helping Jo & Paul at Karoshi Karoshi Linux - Home As i said my view and not edugeeks view etc Russ

If using build disk (not a low build version) then as soon as you are at login screen then can remove it. Low build version disk you will need to leave it until machine reboots etc. USB Disks not sure at what point can remove it will ask and report back. Russ

    Forensic

p.s In non serious case still inform the head before looking at the laptop otherwise could get yourself into legal hot water (even if you think you have a water tight AUP).

    Forensic

@kmount depends on la some say leave it on and some say pull the power. @lionsl2005 Dosn't matter really as you would still upset the legal case as you would not be able to be an expert in court (unless forensics is what you do for living in which case ignore me even if have studied it). If non-serious then ignore this
  15. You can do download sync aka download changes to outlook but not sync back (been asked by lots of schools and think is being worked on). Goto calendar and under actions choose connect to outlook. Russ

    Forensic

If of serious nature and work for LA then stop pull power cable (don't shut down) then inform head and LA. As anything else and you might ruin any legal case you should not do any of investigation work yourself. Russ

    Dad At 13

Sorry but most kids are messing around in one form another (maybe not to this degree) It is called growing up and things have been like it for whole of human life - so to think my kids is not doing this is naive at best Pill: It is good she was on it otherwise there would be more stories like this. We know from history that stopping teens taking pill doesn't work so better they take it and be educated (something that was lacking in this case). Secondly: Abortion: I do feel that no matter what their age is, the views of the young couple need to be taken into account. But I would like to know what support was offered to the young couple in terms of counsellors; none I suspect. Asking people of that age to come to decision without help from parents, doctors and counsellors is wrong. Maybe if they had the right help the decision would have been different. I am pro choice and believe everybody has the right to make the choice to terminate but we can't then put conditions on that: you either give people the choice or you don't. But the main thing is the need to have access to counsellors so people can make informed choices. Just my view.. Russ
