Yes EduGeek was taken when we set the EG twitter account up. We use twitterfeed.com : feed your blog to twitter to get the posts to twitter. Also I have updated the settings so our tweets have Edugeek.net at the start. Hopefully that will make it slightly better to deal with. Also a question do you want the to be a pure forum/blog post feed or would you want that account to be more interactive. Russ

The problem with HR is the main function is to reduce risk and they do that by rules but sometimes rules are over the top. This is classic example what benefit do we get by hiring someone that is not going to fit into the team etc all you get is someone that an ill fit that either is going to leave or have to be let get go. @John No such law in fact I would make sure that I challenged any HR person who said that for number of reasons. As with a job you choose what is the best fit for your department and school. PS and JD are guides and that is all they are. As long as you can justify the choice over all the the other candidates then no problem Ok if you choose candidate A over candidate B. If B ticked all essential and A didn't then you need a very good reason. But If you choose A over B and both ticked all the essential apart from A was missing one tick. But A had slightly better technical skills and maybe you want someone with better technical skills. Also think people might want to reread the PS So you need either 3 years experience or NVQ 3 and 1 Years experience. Russ

hmm I agree it was bit to bashing but then as someone said to certain degree the audience would dictate what was asked. I did agree with women on the jobs for years the service industry has suffered from people not wanting the jobs until people from eastern block took those jobs on. Russ
