If you read articles most of talk is reducing senior staff and most of that through natural wastage. The thing is what you found the cuts have already been happening as lot of LAs have got a freeze on hiring new staff unless there is a real case for it. Russ

@witch Sorry I am full of paramol at moment so thankyou for that spot. Unfortunately the topics and number of blogs I haven't really got much choice about due to the project. At moment my two fav are The IT Triangle (as I can then use tagline to define the 3 topics etc) or dropping the green and calling it the IT Asylum. But keep them coming.

Right got an issue Got MRBS running IIS. If I access MRBS and other PHP systems Like MLHD (so think my setup vrs the software). If access from outside using the http://support.domain.com\mrbs name no problem. But if I access the domain from within school network does not work. But if I access using local dns name http:\\servername\mrbs works ok. At moment solved it by having two links inside network and outside network but like to get it down to one link http://support.domain.com\mrbs. Can access the domain no problem just fails to accept the correct login using NTLM. Does all that make sense. Anyideas Russ

Right this was happening in ITunes 8 but also doing it in Itunes 9 Setup MAC OS - Itunes with videos on it. PC- - Itunes connected to shared library on the MAC But everytime I play a video it opens Itunes store? These are my own videos not any from Itunes stores. They play ok on the PC and also on MAC. Hi We became aware of the Fox Network adverts friday night at that point we disabled the IDG adverts and replaced with Google Adverts. We then emailed IDG and asked 2 things to get the ads removed from our site and Why they appeared in first place. Anyway we had email back saying they had been removed and we enabled the IDG advert again. But clearly they have not. We are currently talking to IDG about this all and I would expect the Fox Network adverts to go soon. As said we take it very seriously adverts like this as for reasons stated as we do not want the site being blocked by RBCs/Schools etc. We sorry for this and that normal service will resume soon.
