  1. Delete c:\program files\AutoDesk and c:\ProgramData\AutoDesk then re-install Fusion 360. Launch Fusion 360 as an admin and click the 'sign-in' button to launch the browser window, you don't need to login. When a non-admin user then logs in it then seems to work until you need to install from scratch. Avoid putting the Autodesk Identity Manager software on, it seems to cause the issue to reappear after an upgrade, seems to work well enough without it.
  2. Thanks, this seems to suggest it's an older version installed than what I thought I'd put on. I wonder if it's how I put it on then.
  3. Hello, I've tried installing .net framework 4.8 onto server 2016 in order to run some software - I did this via an executable from the Microsoft website. It took awhile, but appeared to go through the process okay. However, I can't seem to see a record of it having installed under Installed programs now when the server has come re-booted. Does it need installing a different way, or is the record of it being installed hidden away somewhere? Kind regards,
  4. Yes, unfortunately there is no method to bulk import users or site license - they need to sign-up for an account. Recently getting students verified with education accounts has become more difficult - sometimes support can sort it out, but it's hit and miss and they've started asking for proof to be uploaded, although not all the time. Anecdotally, it seems to work better if the students sign-up for an education license before the 30-day trial ends.
  5. Morning all, Been using Autodesk Fusion 360 for a few years and it's not been a problem until recently. I'm finding students are struggling much more than usual to verify they are entitled to an education license. They complete the information online, selecting the right school etc, but nothing seems to happen or they are then asked to upload proof they are enrolled at school, which is new. Has anybody had similar issues, or workarounds to get it working more consistently? Uploading proof is a new one I've not seen before, has anybody gotten around this requirement?
  6. Sorry to jump in, but I'm looking for a cheap mini PC machine to run TrilbyTV on machines around school. Has anybody experience with these - ACEPC T11?
  7. Hello, We've been using G-Suite for a few years now, and we've an issue with Classroom and e-mail. Specifically on the Student Work tab, there is a link to email students - however this seems to require Google Gmail set-up to work: We use Exchange in school - is there anyway anybody has found to get this functionality to work without using Gmail?
  8. Hello, We've come across an odd issue whereby after importing a text file into a database, and then attempt closing the database Access will crash. This seems to happen when you go to EXTERNAL DATA > Text file and import this way. Curiously, it does not seem to happen when you right-click on a table and go to Import > Text File. This seems to work as expected. Has anybody come across something similiar? The error produced is: Problem signature: Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: MSACCESS.EXE Application Version: 15.0.4420.1017 Application Timestamp: 50673361 Fault Module Name: MSACCESS.EXE Fault Module Version: 15.0.4420.1017 Fault Module Timestamp: 50673361 Exception Code: c0000005 Exception Offset: 00109e90 OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.48 Locale ID: 2057 Additional information about the problem: LCID: 1033 skulcid: 1033
  9. Thanks for the suggestions. Unfortunately even after recording, the content is still not right. I'm going to see if I can copy disk onto different media and see if that makes a difference!
  10. Hi there - thanks for the quick response. I've tried to copy accross the VOB's to perform the conversion steps, but it's proven to be very slow and unresponsive for the larger files - e.g. those in excess of 500mb or so. :\
  11. Morning all, I was wondering if anybody could perhaps shed some light onto why this might be happening. I've got about 6 DVD's produced by Viewtech to record onto the Clickview Library, but when I insert the DVD and look at the preview on the Clickview Digital Video Recorder, the image doesn't "hold" it will flicker vertically - the closest I can compare it to is when an old VCR tape will have tracking issues. This happens on all the viewtech DVD's, but the issue does not occur with any other DVD's. The Viewtech DVD's will play fine from a PC in say Windows Media Player. I've never encountered this sort of issue before, and an stuck trying to find a reason why this is happening or a suitable work around. Has anybody else had similar issues, or are able to shed some light onto why this might be occuring? The Clickview Manager software is Version 2.2.0.20 The Capture Card is a Hauppauge WinTV HVR-1700 Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
  12. Hi all, hoping somebody can help with this - Is their an easy way to achieve the following - When a student logs into the VLE they're directed to their homepage. On the first visit to this homepage, I would like a new browser window, loaded with another website to open up. On subsequent visits to the homepage, I don't want the browser window to open up again, (unless they were to log out and log back in again for example - basically I don't want it loading each and every time they visit the page during one browsing session, once a session is fine). Does anybody know of a solution, perhaps in javascript that could easily achieve this? Many thanks,
