Fabulous! Thanks everyone (well except maybe Chazzy!)

Thanks, not sure whether we want to keep the drawn look though, although it does look impressive!

We're resurecting an old logo for our school but can't find a decent copy of it apart from a scan of the school uniform and a hand drawn image. Can anyone make this into a shiney new logo for us?

First grandchild born last Monday! Little girl Brooke Elsie Bull. (Elsie - mother in laws name, she passed away earlier this year) Photo shows proud Grandma and baby, also so everyone can say how remarkably young I look to be a grandparent. BTW baby does have a neck, her cardigan was riding up in the photo!

Until I get to the shops then can it be used with a 5amp fuse in the plug. (sorry really dim day)
-
Lol, found it being used with a 13 amp fuse.

We've lost the lead (surprise surprise) to our portable Carlsbro wanderer music centre. I have lots of spare kettle leads but can't work out what fuse to use. Nothing in users guide, but under the socket on the unit it says Fuse rating T2ah 250v 210va max Clear as mud to me, 5, 10 or 13 amp? Cheers

Right - checked my switches and I'd changed /s for something else. Put /s back on works like a dream. Decided not to install at startup though, as the software has eight parts to it each needing a folder copying. So have written a script to do all the copying and installing, but am going to do it manually on each teacher laptop as I also have 2 other new programs to install, one of which needs the usb device plugged in whilst the software installs:mad: TBF though it does mean that I get to give staff laptops the once over! Nice little job whilst running the creche in the IT suite during parent's evening next week.

Yes, it's the software drive.

Windows 7 and xp, I'll try robocopy, is it on server 2008 r2 or do I need to install it?

Been presented with yet another woderful educational software package to install, should be ok as it's compatible with W98:mad: I've written a script to install it silently, but the program needs a folder and it's contents copied to the client pc. My script makes a folder, installs the software, but copies the folder and not the contents. It's a batch file, simple xcopy with /s /e /d, works when I run it manually but not at startup. The paths must be right as the folder is copied but not the contents. Any ideas where I might be going wrong?

Thanks - yeah looked there but didn't try that one!

We are looking at investing in a later version of Magix, the free version likes some of our Windows 7 computers but not all! Is there a site licence and any idea of the cost? (PM me if you prefer)

My son currently in Oz on a 12 month working visa has been offered a 'proper' job and has decided to apply for a residency visa. He's now in the process of applying and has been told he needed a proof of 'no criminal records' form. Does he mean one of these http://www.acro.police.uk/police_certificates.aspx .

Any chance you can PM me with details of the framework?

Anyone know of a similar package to ICT Alive? Looking for software for the teaching and learning of ICT. Anyone use one in their school? Thanks!

Yep the Aygo/C1/Peugeot 107 was first on my list, but the seats don't fold completely flat. I very rarely take more than one passenger (can't get an adult in the back of mine atm anyway) so I'm looking for a car that I can keep the seats folded down more or less permanently, grandchild in front seat til he/she is in next carseat up, golfclubs, puschair and/or dog in back. Considering the yaris or clio because it looks as though some variants have rear seats that do what I want them to.

I'm after a small car, even looked at a corsa van.
-
Good start, but I'm looking more at smaller cars. I couldn't cope with a picasso (my dad drives one and I think they have a max speed of 25) nor a panda. I've got a megane convertible atm so it's got to be a bit trendy! Diesel probably, because that would keep the road tax down. I only use it for work (10 mins), golf club (15 mins) pub (10)
