I think you need Windows 7 enterprise for folder redirection.

Environment: SiteA contains CAS1, HT1 and DAG1 SiteB contains CAS2,HT2 and DAG2. Lets says primary site is siteA and SiteB is for DR. All users are on DB1 which has a copy on DAG1 and DAG2? What if CAS1 fails? - Will users in SiteA get automatically redirected to CAS2 automatically? My understanding is that you need have a CAS server in every site ? How does the client (outlook 2007) know to connect to CAS2 ?

I would assume your best bet is to export them to PSTs. As for the training, I suggest doing some reading online befoe you take classes.

I am confused. are you referring to Exchange 2010 Roles ? like the server roles?

As sukh said, you should be able to go from sp1 to sp3. Cool thing about SP3 is that you can do online mailbox move between exchange 2007 and 2010. this makes migration a lot easier!!! Also if exchange is running on ESX, why not snapshot it before upgrading.

Hi Kevin, Off topic question but I am planning to use TMG with Exchange 2010. How's that working for you ? I am deciding if it worth the complexity?
