Why would you be changing one and not the other? If the purpose is to change their username and email you'll want the UPN too. Steve

Dumb question but are you sure you followed the colouring on the port? Only reason I ask is you said "Stripy orange, orange" etc which isn't the order on those type of ports as the numbers are mixed about. (2->1 etc). Just might be worth checking Also did you check what the other end of the patch is terminated as? I take it your VM has the right generation too? Not using G1/2 with the wrong OS etc? I don't think it'll show as much as the bios, but if you run systeminfo in cmd it should show on the last few lines some of the settings and whether it's detected any missing. Steve

Few things to try would be checking the bios has all the threading settings enabled etc, sometimes they have multiple ones rather than just VT etc. Where's the storage for the VM? If it's not local have you checked permissions for the services? Remove any NIC if you added one as that'd remove any faults if it's upset with a vswitch Steve

If you have a standalone one yep you don't need the 19s and can just use default, but we don't bother changing the pidl, we just have a script on the computers that do a robocopy mirror on startup to the network folder so if the images change on the server they'll update on the computers etc, unless you mean different sets running at once? Win10 (Something like 15XX+) has a different version of encryption available, but if you use the older one it's compatible with all OSs etc, so as long as you set that in your GPO it'll work backwards too Steve

Rather than disabling taskmgr etc why not just run the lock command and let it continue while locked? Guessing that should still work, but not used mdt in a long time. Just saves having to re-enable taskmgr etc and then nothing can be messed with if it's locked. You can also just do DisableTaskMgr=YES within the cs.ini rather than trying to fudge it via regkeys (Assuming you're still using LTI?) Steve
