What are people thinking of the game so far? I have played on it for a couple of hours so far. Thankfully I haven't had to wait for much longer than a couple of minutes to join a server. This doesn't mean that it has been plain sailing either. The game has crashed on me a couple of times. It keeps on loosing connection to the servers when playing My origin gamer tag is:benjie500 Does anyone want to start a region. P.s. I have been using the European west 4 server.

I am really looking forward to getting my hands on it! I got an invite to play in the first beta but unfortunatly I had to go do something else. Did not recieve an invite to the second beta. The videos I have seen it looks great!
  5. Yes I am on a Northern Grid internet connection.
  6. I have had a couple of issue with Google myself. It kept on asking me to do a captcha because "there was suspicious activity from my IP". Google appears to be back to normal now. :-)
  7. Hi, To reset password, you need to give the user permission to change password, this can be done via delegating control of an OU. Please follow these instructions: Delegate Control of an Organizational Unit To change the password I would recommend creating an MMC panel. You will need to install remote server administrator tools on the PC that they will be using. An alternative is to install password control by wisesoft. This software is dead easy to use, you simple type in the username and the a new password. It also enables you to force password change. Password Control You could either give them permission to create Group policy or give them local admin rights on the PC. Hope this helps Ben
  8. I am unsure, what the default setting is. I think it does a shutdown rather than going into a sleep mode. Thus I am unaware of any button press that you can turn it on back on with.
  9. Have you got an inactivity timer on it, which shutdowns the PI? It is under: XBMC->Settings->Go to System->Power Saving.
  10. If you have your PI connected via HDMI and it does not detect a TV it defaults to RCA(phono/yellow) connection. You can add the following to your config.txt file in the boot partition to enable the HDMI automatically: Hope this helps.

  14. Very nice. My only criticism is I don't like the background, it is too busy. When users are internal will they need to authenticate themselves or are you going to set up Single Sign On(SSO)? One other thing that you could possibly add is a Google search box at the top of the page. Out of interest how do you get the information out and Sims and display it on your intranet?

  16. You can get free eye tests anyway from work. If you use computer as part of your job, your employer has to pay for your eye tests. See the health and safety executive. http://www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/indg36.pdf
  17. Hi, GLPI helpdesk, enables you to do all things that you are suggesting. It does take a bit of setting up but it is worth it. Hope this helps.
  18. This error appears because it does a lot of the processing on the client PC. This means that it uses a hell of a lot of your system memory. You are best to do the photos in batches of about 15. Close all programs apart from sims. Do a import and then close sims down, because it still hogs a load of memory after importing the photos. I know it is a pain but it is the only way that I have found to do it. Have fun!

Cisco bought the Flip camera range and in April 2011 decided to seize production of them. See BBC news article
  20. WOW! His work is mind blowing! Well worth looking at his other photos. He produces them under creative commons licensing.

  22. Hi, Here is a helpful guide: Deploying Windows 7 - Part 1: Windows AIK 2.0 Enhancements. We are using MDT 2012, some of these setting may not work on older versions. Here is our custom rules (I am in the UK, so some settings will need changing): [Default] OSInstall=Y SkipCapture=YES SkipAdminPassword=YES SkipProductKey=YES SkipComputerBackup=YES SkipBitLocker=NO JoinDomain=DOMAIN MachineObjectOU=Default OU OU drop down list DomainOUs1=OU option 1 DomainOUs2=OU option 2 SkipUserData=YES SkipTimeZone=YES TimeZone=085 TimeZoneName=GMT Standard Time SkipLocaleSelection=YES InputLocale=0809:00000809 KeyboardLocale=0809:00000809 KeyboardLocalePE=0809:00000809 SystemLocale=0809:00000809 UILanguage=0809 UserLocale=0809:00000809 KeyboardLocale=0809:00000809 UserLocale=en-GB UILanguage=en-GB
  23. My spec: I5 2500K 8GB RAM Gigabyte GA-PH67-UD3 PowerColor HD 5750 V3 Edition 1GB GDDR5 DVI VGA HDMI PCI-E Graphics Card OCZ 60GB Vertex 2E SSD 2.5" SATA-II Read = 285MB/s, Write = 275MB/s 50,000 IOPS(£72.49) Western Digital WD10EARS 1TB Hard Drive SATAII 5400rpm 64MB Cache - OEM Caviar Green(£35.82) Plus case and PSU All in all £595. I didn'y buy an OS with that. That is a pretty good deal. You will need to add an graphics card I would say mine cost £68.32 at time of purchase(April 2011). Bloody hell that year has flown past! Only seems like two minutes ago that I set this PC up. edit: Just went and looked at the spec of the motherboard and to be fair , you will probably manage with the onboard graphics.
  24. Hey, You will be able to buy a pre-built computer, for what you want. It depends on your budget and what you are after. I built my latest computer and I love it!
