I've now got patch 20343 on SOLUS and found these instructions: https://faq.scomis.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/BulkImport.pdf -
We can recreate the issue with no board attached to a PC in my office, so I'm convinced it's nothing to do with any attached devices. Our next step is to re-image a PC for the teacher and install everything he uses for this board BUT NO OFFICE 2016 for a day and see if he can get the issue to appear in any other interactive software...

[sims] Script to add student email addresses in to SIMS.net

We are changing our VLE from Moodle to Firefly. Moodle used pupil and staff email addresses from Active Directory whereas Firefly will be pulling data direct from SIMS. We therefore need to add in to every student their school email address. Is there a script to do this? The email address required to be entered for each student would be their admissions number (minus the leading zeros) plus @schoolname.sch.uk eg. [email protected] -
We've been investigating this issue since we got back from the Summer holidays! Initially we put the issue down to electrical interference on the IWB in the classroom, but we can now replicate the issue across multiple hardware (MSI & ASUS boards - but all have an Intel on-board graphics card) without any IWB connected. We've been able to replicate using different versions of Windows 10. We've been able to replicate with and without graphics drivers installed, though in our office it's harder to make the issue appear, in the classroom it appears much more frequently. The issue: It appears to happen much frequently if the powerpoint is set to widescreen and the monitor is 4:3 or if powerpoint is set to 4:3 but the monitor is widescreen. I'd love to know if anyone else can replicate the issue of the spiky powerpoint! Open Office 2016 Powerpoint (new or old presentation) Go to present mode In the lower left corner select the pen tool and colour and start scribbling to your hearts content ! Sometimes we have to scribble for up to ten minutes before a spike appears!

Last night I remoted in and installed KB4457133 (Preview of Monthly Rollup) on our KMS Server and then tried to add in the KMS Host key as shown on our VLSC and when I do that it still puts me back to 2012 rather than 2016 - see attached. -

My KMS Server is Server 2012R2. The link to that update : https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=KB4346783 Only shows the patch available for Windows 10 or Server 2016... -

I just find it odd that it appears that the KMS key is on my VLSC but it seems to downgrade me (!) Whereas others are appearing to have to request the KMS key.... -

I phoned 0344 800 2400 options 2 -> 5 -> 4 only to be told eventually that I don't have "Software Assurance" so they can't help! Not sure where I go from here getting this resolved! -

Phoned the VLSC Help Support who have validated that the key is correct ! They've given me another number to ring for technical support! -

I can't see what I'm doing wrong... Followed the same procedure I did last time, it's as if the KMS code listed is wrong: But it's definitely the one against : Windows 2019 Srv DataCtr / Std KMS (That's through the Licence -> Relationship Summary -> Choose Licence -> Product Keys) -

No. I'm not familiar with that I'm afraid...in the past I've done it all at the command line. -

Well that did n't work. I was on : Windows Operating System VOLUME_KMS_WS16 channel and now I'm on Windows Operating System VOLUME_KMS_WS12_R2 channel I was expecting it to be 2019 ? -

I've just checked on my KMS Server and found out the current partial key on the host. (Windows Srv 2016 DataCtr/Std KMS) Cross referencing where this is on my VLSC portal I see beside it a KMS key for "Windows Srv 2019 DataCtr/Std KMS" - so perhaps it's appearing automatically this time? Also, My notes from the last time I updated the host key are: slmgr.vbs /upk slmgr.vbs /ipk slmg.vbs /ato slmgr.vbs /dlv I presume this is still the correct way to upgrade my host key? -
