  1. it's fine, you don't need to upload it, mine looks identical to yours when looking at it with text editor, just opens a blank safari window when clicked, that's all. I've sort of got around the issue by mounting an authenticated network drive through profile manager as that seems to work similarly, drive then shows on the desktop of the mac. Just can't understand why the .webloc file doesn't work.
  2. Thanks for your efforts on this, I've tried to create the same .webloc file - looks exactly like yours, pointing to my network share. just seems to open a blank finder window when it's double clicked. however if i open it, copy the URL and click "connect to server" and paste in the URL from within the .webloc, my network share opens. Any ideas? Also, to drop the .webloc on all the stations applications folders, have you found a way to do this from Profile manager? As it won't accept .webloc file externsions under the "apps" section of P.M. Thanks! KC
  3. Just one, now resolved. Oddly I had to remove the existing program set, recreate another and the issue resolved itself. Thanks.
  4. Morning, We have an RM CC4.5 network. We use Win 10 Education OS (x64), however, I'm running into a problem with Capita's SIMS. We use SOLUS3 to deploy SIMS to stations, We have a program set where you'd expect to find the shortcut for SIMS, it's there on Windows 7 builds. I've tried deploying a shortcut to an internet browser that directs to say "google.com", sure enough, that appears in SIMS' program set. So the issue isn't with the Program set itself, more in the shortcut. I've tried Health checking and redelivering the Program Set. The program itself works on Windows 10 no issue, it's just a pain to get users to launch SIMS from a shared network drive's shortcut as opposed to the Start Menu which they all are used to. RM say the only difference with Win 10 is that shortcuts can't be replicated i.e if you put a shortcut to Word in program set "Applications", and then in "MS Office", it'll only show in "Applications" as it a.) won't replicate and b.) picks the program set thats first in the alphabet. Any insight on this would be a great help, Thanks! Karl
  5. Sorry to dig up an old thread, what are people using now as an alternative to App Inventor? We were using a web based emulator, but they've stopped accepting uploads. Anyone with a working solution? Karl
