I recently worked on a PC that was 'protected by Norton 2005' - well it was back in 2005. The numpty of an owner hadn't updated / renewed his subscription at all since then and had wondered why his machine had gotten slower and slower and kept crashing and pop-ups offering him "Free P0RN!" whenever he went online. Him installing AVG Free and SuperGiveMeYourCreditCardNumberAntiSpyware somewhere along the way hadn't helped either.

We've got a bread maker that makes amazing pizza dough. Still prefer Dominos though

Our local Dominos produce pretty good pizza. We always take advantage of the vouchers they stuff through the door occasionally, plus we get a discount as the better half works for the NHS. If you don't ask you don't get! Don't think we spend anywhere near £800 a year though! That's a hell of a lot of pizza!

I have a Desire with T-Mobile and the signal has always been a bit patchy at times but I think this is more to do with the areas I'm in than the phone itself. Haven't really noticed any signal difference with 2.2 although I can say battery life is better now.

My daughter's 18 now and the whole thing has been a blast. When they're toddlers is perhaps the funniest. She's off to uni this year and we're going to miss her dreadfully. What I won't miss are the bedroom that looks like it's been nuked, music blaring out all hours, hair on the floor and clothes in knotted heaps.

Oh boy I needed a laugh this morning and this has made my day! "COULD THE HOUSE PRICE CRASH TURN YOUR PENSION GAY?"

I was doing some housekeeping on one of our file servers and I noticed the backup routine was bleating about being unable to access a handful of folders in the users area. On closer inspection it looks like the affected users have created a folder to house website files, either manually or my copying a website. The folders have no security properties and the folder name ends with a space. The folders are empty. I can't delete them, taking ownership has no effect, and MS Article ID: 320081 is as much use as a eunuch in a brothel. Any suggestions much appreciated!
