I built a custom desk for my room about 5 years ago or more and still use it. I had some 2x4 lying around from some construction we were getting done to the house so used that as the legs and support. I then got some 3/4 mdf cut to a specific size and also ordered some reinforced toughened glass of the same size from the local glaziers. The reason I did this is so i could sandwich a specific comic book poster between the mdf and toughened glass. I had a can of silver spray paint left so sprayed all the legs with that and had my completed desk. I still love it to this day only thing i would probably do now is order some metal legs from ikea or somewhere and replace the 2x4. MDF edges can be an eye sore especially if you spill something it will soak it up and look bad. So definitely take into consideration the wood you will use. Good Luck with the project! This is the the poster i used Its a big poster 140 cm in length

Have you you changed the actual username from admin to something else for the website? IIRC read something about doing that for security, correct me if I am wrong guys.

School Mobile Phone contract for me

Bump for lunchtime -
So I have asked to step up from a pay as you go phone to a contract one (I am using it a lot more than when I started out). SLT have given there blessing on this. I just wanted to know what others have done and how many minutes/text/data people if they are on a contract phone using and roughly how much. Also what device do you guys and gals use? I have been speaking to @Millgate but I just thought I would ask how everyone else does it. Cheers

One thing stone do that is appealing is that they cover the battery too in the warranty. Correct me if I am wrong @StoneComputers

@Little-Miss Im sorry to hear your having some bad luck but I was thinking there maybe another option that might make things easier if its possible. Sign up for a tesco clubcard that has 16 months interest free on purchases. Buy your bike from wherever with the card and then just set up a standing order split over 15 months and your done! Just thought I would suggest that as another option if your credit is good.

I have a feeling apple will bring out a 'revolutionary' turntable style base just for this purpose! On a side note it does look impressive.
-
Cool will bear that in mind. I am just glad I actually put my foot down and finally gave it a go after so many years.
-
Thanks I am loving it so far!

Week 2 learned to string the recurve bow and place and use a sight. Getting there! still only shooting to half of the sports hall but working on where my grouping of arrows is falling so can readjust either myself or the sight.
