  1. I will check this first thing tomorrow. Thank you again.
  2. Hi, We use Claro and Claro SE for screen reading, and ExamWritePad appears to behave differently to Word, Wordpad, notepad, all browsers and so on. We are speaking to Claro to see if they can help us, but if someone else has any ideas that would be great. Thanks in advance BoX
  3. Hello again. She has now asked for the ability to remove: Exam board Subject title Date / Time from the footer. Please check your PM too. Thank you
  4. Hi Ass17, Our exams officer has asked if we can make two fields on the candidate info screen "non mandatory" in our config. Or maybe hide them altogether. The fields we want to hide are: Syllabus / Entry code Component /Unit Code I have tried removing the section from the XML, but as i expected, this did not work. Thanks for the new version posted above. BoX
  5. Thank you. I will try HOMEPATH and USERPROFILE to see if they do what I want.
  6. Hi, I am looking forward to the new version with the auto populated candidate fields. I may have missed this in the documentation and this thread, but how do i user %username% etc in the config file please? BoX
  7. I presume that is a reference to a microsoft KB? I have that installed already where required. Just to clarify, I have no issues with the webclient on the internal network, it works just fine. It is the publishing of it externally.
  8. They do say that it is on the roadmap. It does appear that the websocket bits are the issue. Add your vote and maybe it will happen sooner! Check the last post and provide feedback. [email protected] https://feedback.azure.com/forums/169401-azure-active-directory/suggestions/33918046-support-remote-desktop-web-client-html5-on-azure-a Has anyone managed to publish the webclient with a reverse proxy or open ports? All the solutions i have tried fail with the websockets.
  9. Just for info, we had trouble finding a usb LAN adater that worked. I am sure the real Lenovo ones do, but after a BIOS update, we had one already that did work. This is the adapter on amamzon. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07H4N5KT3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01__o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  10. +1 for the Mac client from me.
  11. You can call GPO settings with a powershell script if you want.. Here is an example that may get you on the path.. https://www.atumvirt.com/2013/11/dramatically-reducing-logon-time-to-desktop-by-moving-from-group-policy-preferences-to-powershell-logon-script/ What are you trying to achieve?
  12. Hi, the script at https://gitlab.com/Lieben/OnedriveMapper_V3/commit/3cb573a39df4bd387b6675881a97cb84df004c81 Was updated only a month ago. It still works just fine, and when wrapped up to make an .exe runs just fine from startup or triggered via a GPO. All you need to make sure of is either Windows 10, or have Powershell V3 on your Windows 7 boxes.
  13. Add fastvue, http://www.fastvue.co, to get really good reporting. So much better that the built in stuff.
  14. djrascally Can you suggest a way that a user sufficiently powerful enough to be able to install software on a server, would be able to be prevented from seeing the contents of (c:\program files (x86)\Contact Group\Data Extractor\Logs), or similar path, without breaking their software? If the file concerned was tucked away in userspace or encrypted, then this may be possible. I think this is poor design of the software myself. Regards BoX

  17. Yes, it is called Web Application Firewall in the sophos UTM. (Astaro) I think i will try an ipFire install maybe. Just to see if a simple Http/Https Allow rule is a viable alternative.
  18. It looks great! It works really well on the internal network. All I get from outside is "Oops, we couldn't connect to ...." I am using a Sophos UTM 9 I have a feeling it is something to do with websockets and the UTM not handling them well. Or at all. I have the same errors on all the versions i have tried, 0.8.x - 0.9.x Normal RdWeb works just fine. Any ideas? Does anyone have it working on other firewalls? Regards BoX
  19. This worked for me. https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/package/help/creating-packages.html You probably need to choose "Device licence" during the process. Most of what i chose was defaults. I don't allow users to see updates as they cannot install them. BoX
  20. Thank you, The lady on the phone did not make that clear. I will check on the reporting side of it to see if it meets requirements. BoX
  21. Thank you, It looks like this great for small scale or induvidual screening. I have spoken to them, and they said that the software is cd based and the licencing would be astronomical. BoX
  22. Thank you, I have already looked at that thread, and a couple of others. They all seem quite geared for younger users though. BoX
  23. As the title says really. The software that was in use is not GDPR compliant to say the least. This is a sixth form only and we have approx 2000 students to test. Can anyone please suggest something I can take to learning support as an alternative? Thanks in advance.. BoX
  24. https://ryanmangansitblog.com/2013/0...c-thin-client/ Try this ^ We have repurposed over 90 atom netbooks this way. It may require a couple of tweaks for your environment But it works really well.
  25. The generated distances are a bit random! 16.3 mile when I ask for 8! Great idea though.
