It was on the forecourt for 875, I got it for 575... and quite rightly so as tax was about to run out so I went and taxed it so 575 + 99 for tax. Not bad for a decent 51 plate. MOT is October.

Well, unfortunately... The car was acquired by a second hand dealer... I noticed it on his forecourt and enquired. Unfortunately the mechanic had used the car as a runabout on his Company Insurance. TO my surprise upon looking at the interior his mechanic had obviously been sat in the drivers seat with an oily backside and left muck all over the seats where his hands have been. When I was a mechanic I would of not left a car in this state. I remember seeing other cars in there possession like this too. I've had to give it a good clean. She's right as rain now. I've put seat covers over the seats as some of the seats are starting to wear... especially the drivers seat. All good now she's had some TLC.

Cars provided by dealers / manufacturers specifically for the use for people who claim Disability, or have a disability are entitled to a motability car. SO the Car is leased to the dealer, and the customer who is in reciept of Disability.. has the money go to the people who provide the car instead... they also get free car tax and insurance I believe. All they need to do is put fuel in. My gran used to have a car on motability. My car under the contract of motability, has been serviced every 4000 miles, once the lease was up and the car went back to the dealer it was released for 3rd party resale. I'm the first 3rd party owner as there's only ever been one previous owner and that was the dealer. So it's been well looked after... except someone decided to scrape the drivers side rear door against a bollard.. but doesnt affect the running of the car - it's just a war wound!

I've replaced the glove box handle... what a fiddly job that was.. couldnt get the glove box open as someone had previously snapped the handle completely off... Ordered a new one from ebay complete with cowling... 2.70 Bargain!

That looks the ticket, I've got the radio out at the moment... just a gaping hole lol. Looks like I have an extra cable though. I'll take a photo at lunch time.

Cheers - I've been there to FOC... no replies. I might take the tailgate back apart at some point - I presume the solenoid will be behind the cover so will have a look at the weekend. Might nip into Euro car parts see how much it will cost for a new'un. - - - Updated - - - I thought this... Darn it.

I've got the 1.6 Petrol Zetec SE engine, the ones with improoved performance and reliability... not that the Zetecs had any problems anyway... Shes been stood a while so shes been out of town on a couple of long runs and will be going up North this weekend from Hull so she will get a decent run out but she's already running alot better... Engine is purring alot better now! I've also done an oil change. I've got the service history and every 4000 miles its been serviced, last one being at 84k. I do have breakdown cover and windscreen cover on my insurance... I'm fully comp and it includes just about everything!

One of the problems I have and it's a right pain to be honest... Thew boot release button in the dash does nada! Not a bean!! No noises or anything when I press it. Anyone any ideas ? I can open the tailgate with the key no problem.

Nope I have no stalk adapters... Thats good to know that it's Plug n Play - I'm liking the Pioneer on offer on Halfords.

Thought about it as I wouldnt mind bluetooth for the phone. What about ISO leads ? And would I need an extra bit as my Radio is bigger than others.. ?

I am looking at 3rd party radios, but no Idea what ISO leads I'd need if any... its putting me off buying a second hand 3rd party...

Mines got one with it that has a slot for what I imagine is a cassette slot lol, not that it works, and the radio doesnt tune in either so I think it's goosed... I had to crack the radio code for it too (I have all the codes for ford radios)... Mines one of these... The CD 6000 version is not too bad actually - never seen an MP3 one though.

Well there's enough room in the back for my DJ gear, a half rack and two prams.. and shopping. That'll do me nicely!! - and it's cheaper to insure than the hatchback version lol

Nah I cant see any settings in outlook itself... I've got 1 more thing to dry... turn off Cached Exchange mode.

Hi all, I have a problem with a customer whereby if they do a search for an email in Outlook, it seems to only display old emails - no new ones appear in the search at all. I've removed the .ost so that Outlook brings in all the emails again, same result. I've also tried re-indexing all the emails and get the same results. Said customer has 3 Archives and the .ost files under the data files section of Outlook Accounts. Whether this makes a difference or not I've no idea ? Any Ideas ?

Sorted, yes Have installed converter on Hyper-V and have now got machines converting.. it was an Administrator account problem!! Thanks everyone!

Ok thanks guys, i've installed VMWare converter on my Hyper-V host and I'm treating the VM's like physical machines but i get an error which says Unable to contact specified host... but I can ping it and log in to it as Administrator ?

Tried that... can't connect to them via IP as going through a virtual switch.

Wouldnt that just convert the Hyper-V host ? I dont want to do that I want the VM's from inside the host migrating to ESXI not the actual 2012 Server. ??

Yeah got converter off of VMWares site, Converter is 5.5.1. Ill show you the error message.

Yes tried that Im trying to convert / migrate from 2012 Hyper-V to VMWare 5.1 Tried that got a weird message from converter asking me to try an earlier version of Hyper-V - so a P2V wont work. I've lifted the VHDX files form the server and they are on my local machine. Any ideas how I can convert these and migrate them into ESXI ?

Hi All, Hope everyone is ok! Just a quick one, whats the quickest way to migrate a Hyper-V machine to a VMWare ESXI machine. I've tried VMWare converter but no luck as it says version not supported! Anyway I can import the VHDX files into ESXI ? Thanks In Advance Chris.
