I'd agree with that. They told us that it would run on it's own network and they'd link into ours for the purpose of accessing the Internet so it could sync with ParentPay. I told them no and have everything running on our network, the backend app and SQL database is installed on one of our servers. My only other comment is regarding the client installation.... A very lengthy process (compared to what it could be) requiring you to install various different bits of software, copy this there, copy that there and then change a couple of ini files.... Then it works!

I've just done a little test. I've given our Year 13 group write access on a room and I have been able to access the room as a Year 12 student that is enrolled in the Year 13 group because of the vertical structure we use. I'm going to log this with Fronter.

We only have one browser installed on the machines.

We seem to have a problem with Dreamweaver and viewing the websites in IE. Normally you press F12 to open the website in your default browser, which in our case is IE. Now when the pupils press F12 it opens IE, but loads their homepage (which is google.co.uk) instead of the site they are working on in Dreamweaver. There is nothing in the html code that should be causing this. Does anybody have any idea why this might be happening?
-
It might be worth logging a call with Fronter about it, but, I suspect they will say it's a problem with the data and only something Capita can fix.

I think I see what you mean..... correct me if I wrong... Our 6th form are in vertical tutor groups. There is a group for Year 13 which includes students in Year 13 but then the groups that are also enrolled in Year 13 contain students that are in Year 12? I suspect that if you resign them, they will just re-import overnight.
-
Thats normal.... I have 324 students and 188 groups enrolled in Year 9. If you scroll down past the students you will see the groups. The groups are the individual classes 9a/DT1 for example which contain the members of that class.

I've had similar errors before on various servers that I backup using BKExec. Symantec's own advice was to create dummy files in the location BKExec is expecting to find them.

[sccm 2007] 0x80091007 - The hash value is not correct
adamf replied to adamf's topic in O/S Deployment
I've now tried changing the location of the source files (after deleting the current package from the DP and then completly removing it from SCCM) - this hasn't solved the problem either. I've got 2 support incidents from my technet subscription. Does anybody think it is worth using one, or are MS going to say it's a 3rd party problem.. -

Am I looking for anything specific in the logs? Here are a few lines which look to me like everything is working as expected: 2011-03-24 10:19:32 10.59.100.47 GET /SMS_DP_SMSPKGC$/RC10006D/application.xml.override - 80 CURRICULUM\Administrator 10.59.99.109 SMS+TS 200 0 0 0 2011-03-24 10:19:32 10.59.100.47 GET /SMS_DP_SMSPKGC$/RC10006D/deployment/application.xml.override - 80 CURRICULUM\Administrator 10.59.99.109 SMS+TS 200 0 0 0 2011-03-24 10:19:32 10.59.100.47 GET /SMS_DP_SMSPKGC$/RC10006D/deployment/install.xml - 80 CURRICULUM\Administrator 10.59.99.109 SMS+TS 200 0 0 11 2011-03-24 10:19:32 10.59.100.47 GET /SMS_DP_SMSPKGC$/RC10006D/deployment/installtryout.xml - 80 CURRICULUM\Administrator 10.59.99.109 SMS+TS 200 0 0 7 2011-03-24 10:19:32 10.59.100.47 GET /SMS_DP_SMSPKGC$/RC10006D/deployment/uninstall.xml - 80 CURRICULUM\Administrator 10.59.99.109 SMS+TS 200 0 0 14 2011-03-24 10:19:32 10.59.100.47 GET /SMS_DP_SMSPKGC$/RC10006D/deployment/uninstalltryout.xml - 80 CURRICULUM\Administrator 10.59.99.109 SMS+TS 200 0 0 8 2011-03-24 10:19:32 10.59.100.47 GET /SMS_DP_SMSPKGC$/RC10006D/install.xml - 80 CURRICULUM\Administrator 10.59.99.109 SMS+TS 200 0 0 8 2011-03-24 10:19:32 10.59.100.47 GET /SMS_DP_SMSPKGC$/RC10006D/Media.cab - 80 CURRICULUM\Administrator 10.59.99.109 SMS+TS 200 0 0 238 -
[sccm 2007] 0x80091007 - The hash value is not correct
adamf replied to adamf's topic in O/S Deployment
We are deploying the packages using the "Install Software" part of the TS. SCCM is running in Mixed Mode The DP is on the same server as the site server BITS appears to be running correctly as I can download and install the problem package from within the OS after advertising it. It's only when it is part of the OSD TS that it causes a problem. I haven't installed R3 yet. -

Just had a look run dir /s /a:h on the source directory that the files are copied from and there are no hidden files. Binary differential replication is not enabled on this package. -

I've refreshed/updated the package and you can see this happening in the distmgr.log on the server - everything complete fine. When running the task and having the content accessed directly I am still getting the same error. Are there any logs on the server that contain the hash of the package so I can cross reference it when the hash in the smsts.log on the client? -

Normally the content is downloaded, I am just about to try accessing it directly. I've already tried the refresh/update trick. -

I created a new task and I am still getting the same error. -

Yep, checked to see if it had gone. This is what I am getting from the smsts.log The hash value is not correct. (Error: 80091007; Source: Windows)]LOG]!> I've just created a new task sequence in case something in that is not working. -
No! That looks like the cause. I only had prezi.com. I now have *.prezi.com and it is working.

[sccm 2007] 0x80091007 - The hash value is not correct
adamf replied to adamf's topic in O/S Deployment
Yep. I waited until the package was removed and the re-added it. -
After wrestling with SCCM trying to be Adobe CS3 Master Collection to deploy silently, I have finally got it working from within the OS but when I included it as part of an OSD task it fails to install with error code 0x80091007 or "The hash value is not correct". The only fixes I have found from googling is to update the package in the DP, remove and re-add the package to the DP or completly remove the package from SCCM, re-create and re-add to the DP. None of these have worked. Does anybody have any ideas?

I've managed to capture and filter that data now. It appears that even with the autoritive dns zone requests are still going via our ISA server, so I changed my proxy to go straight to our ISPs proxy - the error still occur. One thing I did notice is that every request that goes out has the following: Header checksum: 0x0000 [incorrect, should be 0x2dc5] the figure in bold is always different. [Good: False] [bad: True] [Expert Info (Error/Checksum): Bad checksum] [Message: Bad checksum] [serverity level: Error] [Group: checksum] What does that mean (if anything)?
-
Both errors still occur... I will get to the other tests. I'm trying to capture some network traffic between my laptop and the server. I can't get the filter correct in wireshark to display what I want to see. Does anybody know what the filter should be to display traffic between client and server (when it's web based)? I've tried ip.addr==sourceip and ip.dst==destinationip but when using OWA nothing is displayed

I've changed the diagnostic logging on the above to expert, the problem has been reproduced by staff but I am seeing nothing of any significance in the event logs. I haven't tried all of the above steps yet, but running test-owaconnectivity a few times produced figures between 78ms and 93ms but occassionally spiked to 350 or 400ms then returned to around 78-93ms
