Why do i suddenly for see a need (from teachers!!) for one of those in every class to notify of messages without disturbing the class or using email?!?!?

Just heard 3 of our primary classes and one of our secondary ones are closed wed-- joy-- now whats the bet i get to be a TA again for the day!! lol

I work for KCC and we get quite a decent discounts package, not just Apple but HP, amazon, asda, also discounts on local stuff and staff club (tho i will never ever go on one, unless its russell howard) shows. Our school would let us buy through them, but its so much hassle i dont bother.

Hi all, Would really appreciate some help on the following: Our new head has a Mac at home and has Office on it-- I don't know any of the versions sorry-- and she keeps bringing in documents for printing on our machines. However none of our machines open them. Have tried resaving in .rtf etc but nothing works. Any ideas? Please!!

Has anyone noticed how mental age changes depending on who your with Line manager-- age appropriate-- unless your as bad as each other Friends -10 years Kids- -15 years- or as close to their age as you can get!!

Minor milestone birthday was 30 by the way!!! Just clearing that up! lol

They cheated with me and put it in my job description Curriculum and ICT Support apparently i dont have enough IT work to keep me busy!! and now i spend most of my time in a day doing admin tasks-- am lucky to get 30 mins to do IT

Growing up without growing old is the trick! being a bit more mature- is always negated by a silly tshirt or laughing at someone falling over!

ALISON isn't bad-- very basic- tho. Tend to recommend it to the Teachers/TA's for office based apps etc- but do some good on the side qualifications. You do have to pay for actual paper certificates tho!
