I don't think there is a way for a webpage to read a set of filenames on the server but you could set up the slideshow to use specific file names i.e slide1 slide2 slide3 etc. Then simply replace the slides with new ones using the same names.

Small primary: 10 teachers. We provide all teachers with a laptop for use whilst they are with us. When they leave it is returned. The laptop has secure logon and network file synchronisation to ensure that all sensitive data is protected should the laptop be stolen. For this reason we do not allow teachers to use their own laptop, hence we must provide one. They also have an encrypted memory stick and are told not to use their own for reports etc.

Change priority in Windows 7 the same way: Control Panel>Network and Internet>Network Connections>Advanced>Advanced Settings> Move Local Area Connection to the top. I had this problem with my XP laptops and solved it by giving the network priority over the wireless: Go to Network connections Local area connection Advanced Settings Now move Local Area Connection to the top so that it is above Wireless Network Connection. Yes. Primary education uses a simplified but logical system for defining shapes. A circle has one side. (One curved side). (The joke about one inside and one outside does not count because this only relates to the line that is used to draw the shape. If the line is thick enough there will be no inside as the circle will be completely filled). A semi-circle has two sides, one curved and one straight. A quadrant has three, two straight and one curved. and so on....

If it is the harddrive password then there is no way you can unlock it if you do not know the password. The drive must be in the computer that set it and it will not allow you to wipe the drive. The password is stored in an area of the drive only known to the manufacturer. Contact Acer with proof of ownership and they may be able to give you an override. On some Mobos the password is also stored on a built in chip that cannot be erased by removing the battery. This would also need to be reset.

Can you hear the fan cutting in? Try cleaning the fan and vents. Check the heatsink.

Could be connected. Are the drivers loaded for the graphics card? Start> Right Click on Computer>Manage>Device Manager>Display Adapters. My Dell XPSM1730 Gaming laptop had a similar problem when the graphics card died.

Just tried it here on my Dell widescreen and it seems to work. As jamesb says, some programs are not affected.

Renames and deletes on the left are repeated on the right. Contribute: New and updated files are copied left to right. Renames on the left are repeated on the right. No deletions. Works well for me keeping all my photos backed-up to my NAS.

Easy on the QNAP. All part of the Admin console. Can set users, with access rights, which folders to share, password protection etc
