That's a good point as it says in the comments if you use bat files for logon or log off scripts etc then don't disable bat file scripts otherwise they won't work ( obviously )

Just to confirm - how do you make a hidden directory not hidden / or failing that navigate to said directory so as to remove relevant items out of said directory ( in this case the /var ) directory

I had the wish bones replaced Feb 2013 and they need doing again as they have split on both the front ones

My car desperately needs a full service, currently it needs new wish bones for the front and maybe anti-roll link arms / bushes , The drivers side wing de-rusting and re spray painting, the passenger side wing mirror either needs the glass replacing with the correct glass or replacing altogether. Minor thing but the air con does not work and the passenger side front seat does not heat properly and I would like one of those rear windscreen view mirrors that auto dimms ( that would be nice ) Obviously after it has a full service will find out ref tyres, brakes and anything else Glad it's not just me that has issues with cars.

That's good that it now sits at 70 Degrees C under load after the cleanup / re-application of thermal paste ( AS 5 ) etc

@Arthur / @ZeroHour - Moral of the story is, if you want to get a few or more NVidia GTX Titans ( black edition or not ) or even a similar card ie GTX 780 ti etc SLI'ed together - to ensure you have some where very very cold to store the base unit as it will be pumping out at least 80 degrees C per card under full load Failing that have a small room with a very good air con unit just for the base unit and the relevant cabling coming out of the room ie video ( DVI ), audio , keyboard and mouse unless you have wireless / cordless ones ie bluetooth or whatever.

Or he lives in a very cold place ( antarctica / etc ) and his desktop is in a garage or outside ??

The latter but shouldn't be getting that hot under load - so something isn't right, surely should be about 30 degrees c idle ( give or take a few degrees ) and then between 50 - 60 degrees c under load
