  1. Hi Sarah, Have you checked the GPO log file? There might be something in there which will point to where the problem lies. It might well be a targeted filter preventing certain GPO's from applying on the machine. Is it happening to all users, or just some? Also, make sure the machines are sitting in the correct OU. The upgrade might have moved them out of the container (unlikely but you never know).
  2. I have seen this a couple of times when opening the start menu on the environment I was last working on. I have Windows 10 Edu 1511 with Classic Shell installed too. I seem to have narrowed it down to the OneDrive shortcut on the redirected start menu. Removing this via GPO from the machines seems to have cured it for now and the machine didn't lock up. **Touching wood right now** HTH
  3. Scratch that - found your registry entry under the User Configuration section. I'll have a trawl through this now. Thanks again, Michael.
  4. I have noticed that, Michael. It seems that one feature works on one, but doesn't on the other. I did also import your GPO's into my test server but there wasn't any registry keys added into the GPO though, or certainly not that I've found yet anyway. The registry entry is blank.
  5. This might be a little side step - but how do you guys remove the Control Panel/PC Settings/Administrative Tools/Default Programs and Help and Support from your 'Windows 7' Classic Shell menus? I've enabled the options within the GPO but have since noticed it's only relevant on the 1 and 2 column styles. I've disabled access to the control panel via GPO but the icons still exist. :/ Here's hoping someone can shine some light onto this. Cheers
  6. This did indeed stump me this morning. I found that the tiles were simply 'deactivated' on a user that had already logged in.
  7. You could just add the upload box as an 'Allow All' on ports and as an 'No Auth Required' device. That will it will dial out to all addresses and ports without getting blocked upstream. This is how we have our upload box setup. Hope this helps.
  8. My ISP is on the list (PlusNet) but for some reson it's not working here. General Error message. I hate RealPlayer too. Maybe when they start streaming in AAC, WMA or MP3 it will be a lot better.
  9. Just go to Advent website and download all of the drivers for your PC. Chipset, audio and network drivers.
  10. Are the port settings setup correctly? Personally i don't use the 'HP Network Port', I just select 'Standard TCP/IP Printer Port' and it works fine. Can you access the 2600N's via the web interface? If not then theres a problem with your network settings on the JD Card.
  11. Does the board pen actually work? We had quite a few problems with AS3 and older type boards. In the end we had to flash our whiteboards to the newest version for AS3 to work.
  12. Try running WireShark or Ethereal on your network. Also, which check which ports are being listed as sending out excessive broadcasts. You could also pull one cable out at a time to find the offending device.
  13. 1) Have you tried dropping the refresh rate down on the suspect PC or tried another PC? Failing that, i'd say the screen is actually faulty. 2) This happens on my 913N when I'm not using the correct display driver or have Windows Generic ones installed. You might want to drop the resolution down to 800x600 if your using the generic drivers then update them to the latest version. That should fix it.
  14. Have you used Wireshark or Ethereal to sniff out the source of the packets? It's most likely coming from one of your network printers with multiple protocols enabled or one of your servers ARPing.

  16. Any Enta reseller is worth looking at. I'd also like to say PlusNet. CS is spot on and they are quite proactive (for instance they noticed my line had a lot of sync drops for a period and they actually rang me to check things over. They have also just activated another segment of a 622mbit pipe. :-)
  17. Clear the squid cache. :-) Happened a couple of times on our boxes. How many concurrent users are hitting that box and is it authenticating against anything or do you have authentication disabled? Reason i ask is that you have quite a few processes running. If you dont have authentication running i'd probably start looking more upstream than anything else. Maybe reboot your router if you're running in bridge mode.
