Counter Spy (was 'free' via PSN subscription). I thought it was a lot of fun, a bit short maybe but then it would have gotten boring if it'd gone on much longer. Playing back through on hardest difficulty now. Nice little game if you can pick it up under a fiver

I didn't mention earlier but there's no reserve on this; it will sell regardless (currently £1.20) -

Also: Candyman Bloody Mary Anything on this list... Sorry, I know I'm being flippant, but there has been and will always be some story or another that teenagers freak themselves out over. I'm afraid I don't buy in to "Slenderman made me do it" - a couple of disturbed individuals who would have found another excuse if not Slenderman.

It's very important, yes. If your website isn't responsive, then it's not going to work well on mobile devices. If your parents try to access your website via their phone/tablet and it's not responsive, they're going to come away frustrated. If they're frustrated, they're not happy. End result: wound up parent ends up calling the school because they couldn't get what they wanted from the website, or potential parent goes elsewhere because they couldn't easily access information on your school. Extreme cases maybe, but your website may well be many people's first impression of your school; don't disappoint. As for "not liking responsive websites" - sorry, but this only shows your misunderstanding of what that means. A responsive website simply formats itself for the screen space it has; that's it. If you don't like the format, that's a separate issue.

That makes it sound like "oh, that's easy" - but mastering all those materia must have taken forever!
-
Bear in mind, this game was made before it was common place to allow you to save progress whenever you feel like it. Working through a dungeon with a boss battle at the end, you don't want to burn through all your MP using outrageously overpowered spells. Ether/elixir are rare drops and expensive to buy too, so you won't likely have huge reserves. It really makes you strategize. Also, you can turn ATB off and then it's a true turn based battle system if you prefer - I tend to do that when I know I'm entering a tougher section of the game but leave ATB on when I'm just wandering

In original FFVII, they're just numbered - another reason for you to love it
-
It could be a reactor, but this scene just before you see them marching up the stairs (presumably in the same place) looks like it could be the Sector 7 slums to me:
-
Don't think so - I mean it's implied that they're cracking down on AVALANCHE, but that's largely by way of keeping them in the slums. I may be wrong - my memory isn't great (at least it means I enjoy the game every time I play through because I forget some of the things that happen every time )
-
I thought the same, but it quite clearly says "Remake" at the end - if it is a proper remake, that gives them a lot of freedom to flesh out and even expand the story though. Could be a whole new game, just with the same characters and based on the original story. I mean you never hear of Shinra soldiers storming houses in the original, but you see that in the new trailer. I think that may well be what they're doing, but I hope they keep in key elements - won't mention them because unbelievably there are people who haven't played it but some of the key plot points need to be kept if they're still calling it FFVII
-
...and there's always the emulated PSX route. No excuses!
-
I've a feeling you'll change your mind by the end of the series
-
Haha yeah never really got why they did that, earlier FF games used "-e, -a, -aga" naming rather than numbers (e.g. Fire, Fira, Firaga). Also, it'll make my inner nerd very happy if they call Aeris Aerith this time around
-
Yeah well the Steam version does anyway; Square made a few tweaks for the Steam version, including joypad support, cloud saves and achievements. They also made some minor graphical tweaks; nothing that you'd immediately notice, just tweaks to make it look a bit smoother on higher res modern monitors.
-
OK, got to say this because like a nerd, I'm feeling all protective over something I actually have zero involvement in other than playing it as a kid, falling in love with it and holding it dear like one of my own children; play the original! I've no idea what the PS4 remake will be like, it might be awesome, it might be trash but whatever it is, it will not be the original. You'll be doing yourself a great disservice if you base your opinion of the game on the remake. EDIT: if you have no other way of acquiring the game, it's on Steam at the moment, 50% off in the sale (£4.99) - may even drop lower than that if they flash sale it
-
I thought it was OK. There's potential certainly. Seems to be by the same people who made Utopia - very similar style and score. [still bitter they cut that]
-
I'm bouncing between that and just sheer excitement at the possibilities... I love the original though, they'll never ruin that for me as I'll always have that. I'm really hoping that it's ultimately the same game, just with modernised graphics. As much as I love the original, that E3 reveal trailer sure is pretty...
-
Unbelievably excited. I'm on my annual(ish) play through at the moment and was having my annual(ish) moan about it being overdue a remake the other night, so chuffed they're finally doing it It looks like it's going to be a total remake rather than just a graphics overhaul, which I'm in two minds about: on the one hand, fantastic, a new look at what I believe to be one of the absolute greatest video game story lines and universes ever written. On the other, I hope they don't change it too much - I don't need Cloud emo-ing up (which would be easy to do, given his story and style), I don't want them to change the battle system, I love classic JRPGs, the reason I don't play so many modern ones is I hate "action RPGs". Also hoping they don't mess with the materia system. Basically, FFVII is about as close as any game has come to perfect for me, so this is a bit of a double-edged sword - I'll still be pre-ordering whatever edition gives me the most release day content like a blabbering, money throwing buffoon though! EDIT: This won't be any less frustrating in glorious HD though :

Their information is garbage: Except that the vast majority of digital CCTV cameras are at least 720p, many 1080p Did they offer to sell you some too?! I understand that if a person isn't recognisable in the image, it's not good enough for evidence, but a 1080p video at 25fps (which, again, the majority of digital cameras are quite capable of) should be plenty clear enough. They're basing their information on old fashioned analogue cameras. Obviously, IANAL but if the Police were to tell me a HD video of someone keying my car from 10 feet away wasn't clear enough, I'm sure a lawyer would have a field day with them.

Will be watching this thread with interest. FIL has asked me to install a camera for him due to vandalism, was looking at an IP camera with R-Pi set up as an NVM, but have concerns about reliability.

Having a bit of a clear out and selling a few things, this being one of them. eBay listing for reference: Official INSIDE THE VAULT THE ART & DESIGN OF BORDERLANDS 2 ART BOOK | eBay I'm open to offers via PM and will do free P&P for sales on here for long term EG members - can't do that if you buy it on eBay though, need to cover the fees that they charge at every bl**dy opportunity!

Thought I'd post this here as it may be useful to someone as a donor machine. I suspect if you had the tools to do a BGA reflow you'd get it working again, but I don't (and after recently melting a PS3 mobo in the oven, I thought I'd quit while I'm ahead on the DIY front!)
