You can allow single videos on a Smoothwall with a regex pattern: (youtube\.com/watch\?v= [b][color=#ff0000]0MnJ0V0UFIc[/color][/b][A-Za-z_/=\?\.&]*) Replace the bit in red with the ID code from the URL. All the stuff afterwards means it'll allow it even if it's got other GET variables padded behind it (like a start time). You do need to link to it directly, though. (Embedded videos are easier: just youtube.com/embed/{IDCODE} as a normal URL, no regex needed) What I'd really love is a straightforward way to unblock all the videos on a given channel, but because YouTube's URLs are terrible and entirely lacking in metadata, there'll never be an easy way to do it

Angel Has Fallen with Gerard Butler in, third in the series following Olympus Has Fallen and London Has Fallen. One of those where you know what you want from it, it knows what you want from it, and it sets about doing it in a perfectly pleasing manner. Doesn't waste your time teasing out obvious twists, and has Nick Nolte reprising his Crazy Old Man role that he does so well these days. Entertaining, if not revelatory!

The brightest minds and great hopes of the nine necromantic houses turn up to the ancient temple of the Emperor to compete to learn the secret of becoming a Lyctor and ascending to serve at the undying Emperor's right hand. And then they start getting murdered, one by one. Features lots and lots of bone magic and monsters and skulls and is the most 40k thing outside of 40k, and Gideon (protagonist) has the most brilliantly engaging and cynical voice. The opening line is which is just flipping fantastic, tbh. You can read the first chapter here, and honestly, it's the most brilliant thing I've read in years, you really want in.

I prefer the West Coast IPA--it has that bitterer floor that complements the hops--but the lady wife prefers the Tropical Pale as she's more inclined towards very hoppy ales, especially fruity ones. Both are bloomin' lovely though, and I suspect that the Tropical Pale would go better with food (a big gastropub cheeseburger plz) while the West Coast IPA would be the better session ale.

We do, but we only ever use it retroactively when looking for evidence after suspicions have been raised another way--no-one has the time to pro-actively monitor given how many false positives there are, and it's not worth the cost to us as a school (given our particular needs/intake) to pay for a pro-actively monitored solution. Have had occasion to be grateful for it in the past when managing to provide useful evidence to police in the past, though. I can't say any more, but I won't be without it now.

Thank you all for your responses! PO for SignIn App is going in today after an impressive phone call and web demo; it seems very flexible for us and straightforward for end users, and the price is eminently reasonable. And it turns out that the paper sheets we use for visitor passes cost an arm and a bloody leg, so at £295pa we'll actually be saving money every year, and now I wish I'd done it sooner. As for the lanyards, I ran off a simple Visitor design in Illustrator and had them printed by https://www.idcardcentre.co.uk/ who were the cheapest on price, and they've turned out pretty bloomin' nice tbh. The company tweaked the artwork to make sure it only printed once per side (i.e. left/right) rather than ending up cut off in a weird place, which I appreciate, the print quality was bright and the lanyard feels decent, and delivery was as timely as promised. Happy with that, so when the time comes to print staff/student etc. I'll re-use them.

We had to pause about 15/20 minutes in to watch a 10 minute recap on YouTube--it's been six years, c'mon!--but it was good. Not really a film, more an overlong episode, and entirely unnecessary tbh as I'd already decided in my own head that Jesse had gotten away, but I'm glad I watched it. We've been putting in the Sharp PN65SC1 fully installed with 5 year warranty for around £1650 ex VAT from Sharp directly. If you only want a 3 year warranty you can knock ~£100 off. Working well for us; included software is free and capable enough, and image quality is good. FIrst ones went in around 6 months ago and still very happy.
