  1. OK the filter settings still seem to be there (phew) but I still can't run them from the scheduled reports screen
  2. I sincerely hope they haven't done this - I already had to re-setup our reports before Christmas (nearly 100 scheduled) because they broke them. It would take too long to do it again!
  3. So any data that is a live feed from a report (not oData which seems fine) needs to be fixed in Power Query. Attached are the source headings we were getting before followed by what we are getting now. Do they not think that people make use of these features?????!!! Before: After:
  4. My scheduled reports don't seem to be working still. Tried running them manually so people would get them for tutor time and nothing came through. Also, it looks as though some column names have been edited in the database - our Power Bi feed is breaking in Power Query as column names its searching for no longer match
  5. I've raised a ticket just now. For anyone else, we've had zero scheduled reports email out but they show as having run in the Scheduled Reports screen. If I try ticking them there and clicking Run it says it has run correctly, but still nothing comes through. As for live data feeds, anything from oData seems OK but anything using the URL for a live report feed is coming up with 500: Internal Server Error Was told by the support rep that I wasn't the first to report the same issue this morning and other members of the team are aware of it, funny how this isn't represented on the system status page... Must be Monday hahaha (sarcastic laugh)
  6. Anybody finding this morning that scheduled reports haven't emailed out and any Excel or Power Bi files that have 'live' links to Bromcom are failing? Or is it just us?
  7. Appreciate that. I think we'll look into our Azure Connect config. Something may be wrong there possibly
  8. That sounds exactly like what I would expect it to be doing. But the groups memberships and adjustments aren't working as intended. We'll go back to Locker support and get them to look into our config, something clearly is set up wrong. Do you mind if I ask how your SSO part is working? We have a GPO that sets a site-to-zone setting and one to allow status bar updates via a script. But that's seems to be pretty much it. I'm wondering if we have a setting wrong with the Azure AD Connect program?
  9. We joined up with Locker Connect this last Summer to get ourselves on the automatic account creation bandwagon. We chose them over Salamander as we liked the look of what we saw. However, I'm not getting the functionality that I was expecting. Now I'll say right now, I'm not saying the software doesn't work, but I do think that somewhere along the way our configuration hasn't been set how we want it. We use Bromcom as our MIS (don't get me started about that right now) and Microsoft 365 as our email system. We are also using Azure AD Connect (or Entra) to link up our onsite AD with Azure so we can enable single sign-on. Accounts are creating in both AD and 365, and they are adding to correct groups in AD... but not in 365? Even though the named groups are proper "Microsoft 365 Groups". Locker say that our 365 accounts are getting created by Azure Connect rather than Locker, and so they are having to handle accounts after the fact. But because of this, they can't handle group management? Does that sound correct? Does anybody else out there use Locker with 365 and have a SSO system? Do you have any issues with group allocation? Are you making use of Azure/Entra Connect? Basically, what is your working setup that we seem to not have?! Driving me potty as I'm sure we can achieve what we want without having to switch to Salamander, but I just can't get my head around it. And right now it's hindering our next step in our big project of shifting a lot of data into SharePoint and Teams.
  10. Yep appalling speed here too... again!
  11. Yes they are having issues. You should have received a notification from them this morning but if not you can check it on their service status page
  12. I've raised a ticket about this too, both yesterday and today the speed has been shockingly slow. I gave up creating a simple report.
  13. I actually prefer the current method of raising a ticket on the helpdesk and then waiting a fortnight for a response (sarcasm)
  14. You can specify where the 'DataStore' folder is located and within this it creates an 'Apps' folder which is then shared and contains your MSI's. So you can put them on a different partition should you wish.
  15. Welcome @Tech_Wanderer! Edugeek is your place to be my friend. There are so many threads and sections available on here covering all aspects of IT, don't be afraid to post a question in a section that sounds relevant. It's a friendly community. One place you might want to look around is the forum called "How do you do....it?" - some good threads on there and also good for starting your own Q&A
  16. I think we are using a different version of the POP software in that we have a server installation and then separate installs for an Admin dashboard, an Invigilator dashboard and then Test Players on each client machine. We use it for the BTEC Sports exams and I only updated it yesterday as it happens. Not sure if it will do what you need as an alternative? No web interface that I'm aware of. The server download is here: https://btecng.pearson.com/btecng/setup/Edi.Advance.Tdp.ExamCentreService.Setup.msi It will create a share on the server containing the MSI files for the other 3 components. I think the test player installs one of the Visual C++ runtimes if it isn't already on the machine. If this is the wrong thing, sorry :-/
  17. My first query from your screenshots is "Wifiblaster". Who is this? The only ISP I can find is one in Spain, so do you have some kind of VPN set up? Pinging another device on your domain, unless you have some custom settings configured, would normally come back as a TTL of 127. However, whatever is providing DNS lookup can contain a DNS record to adjust the default TTL. Try pinging Google on 8.8.8.8 and you'll get a TTL of 118 I'm thinking something DNS is possibly your issue. Are you able to change the DNS server IP on something and try speedtest again to see if it makes a difference? Alternatively, it could be a routing issue. From one device on the network, open CMD and run tracert to the name of device 2. Eg, tracert computer2 - you would expect after a short delay you would just get one router in the path (your onsite one). If there are more in the path, your traffic is going out to come back in indicating something wrong in the routing table
  18. Not quite the screenshot I had in mind I was thinking more of your Group Policy settings. But based on what you have put, your GPO settings should be looking like this:
  19. Do you have a screenshot of the settings from that GPO? Just the section referring to the Chrome extensions? Have you enabled a black list which would be blocking anything?
  20. In the GPO under Administrative Templates --> Google Chrome --> Extensions, you need to configure the following policies: Configure extension installation allow list Configure the list of force-installed apps and extensions In each put the long string value associated with the browser extension. The force installed ones get added on a reboot
  21. At my last job, I added support for the Reprographics and AV department into the mix which helped me get a bit of a boost. In my current job I've ended up doing a lot more data work on top of the usual NM role (so making analysis dashboards from MIS data) and also taken a bigger lead on GDPR related things. It's helped me raise the salary
  22. Interesting, I'll try whitelisting those too. Any speed bump would be great! Which behaviour issues are you having? We are finding it mainly on iPads but I've had 2 people say they struggle on the desktop. But only 2?
