  1. Some interesting posts on the net about this error. Is MySQL running on the same server at FOG and are you using localhost as the db host? Does mysql -u username -p (insert password) work?
  2. Hi there, I'd have normally said yes, an ldap module needs to be loaded into apache but not in this case with Adito doing its own thing. What errors are you seeing, and have you configured DNS properly for it to find the domain? I really should find some time to knock this up as per our conversation in pm previously.
  3. Again not overly directly helpful but I'd agree, I've found VirtualBox a pleasure on both Windows and Linux hosts.
  4. Worth checking the Apache accesslog/errorlog if this still happens over on ubuntu.
  5. Good move, give me a shout if you have any probs.
  6. You know my feelings on Centos ... Tried system-config-language and localedef ?
  7. You don't *need* DNS on the domain controller but it's advised unless you have an existing solution for the domain. sajidmunir51, yes, give them all a static IP in the same range as each other and if you've set the networking the same on each you should see them all quite nicely.
  8. That would explain it if your client wasn't able to locate the dc via the configured DNS Servers.
  9. What error are you actually getting?
  10. Hi there, If you just want the three of them to communicate together away from your own 'lan' then select internal (intnet) for them all and they should all see each other (once configured with network details). Similarly, if you want them to all exist on your main network (might be a bit dodgy if you have DHCP already on there from your router or whatever) then you can use bridged which will allow them to be seen/see on the main network.
  11. Getting mixed up happens but without wishing to appear rude if you've gone in and written a letter outlining why you don't meet the criteria which you now think you do you've probably talked yourself out of any chances you probably otherwise had. I would seriously reconsider your perspective on this, and I know whilst many people have offered to help and some you have let, I PM'd you offering a hand and you completely ignored me.
  12. Worth checking gpresult to see if its actually applying said policy on the client.
  13. Try Photorec or have a search on here there's a few options for recovery. PhotoRec - CGSecurity
  14. It's out of stock there too.
  15. Prefer the joomla one for manageability, think ultimately going to be better in the long run if training occurs on how to manage it rather than relying on a single person with a copy of Serif Web to maintain it! Have a think about offering up some different themes to show just how 'different' it can look if the design is the problem.

  17. Sorry I misread there, thought you'd literally just installed it. You can resize the partitions based upon what localzuk has said.
  18. Probably easier to be honest.

Hey James, Thanks for this. I'll mention it upstream as I'm not in a position to make that kind of call. Really grateful for everyone's input Thanks again

Yep, bounced some of this by Michael already he's a top bloke and I'd wholeheartedly recommend his services if they were applicable to your needs! A DVD full of software is a definite good idea, there's a wealth of potential out there and I've picked up the names of software on here that I'd never even thought of. Power of a good community?
