  1. Music & Science Create Disturbed Teachers
  2. I think ADModify will do it.
  3. There are some good php sites about and seem to get better as ppl get to know the coding a bit better.
  4. I'm in the process of putting one together for our Intranet. It's not available outside school yet because I'm waiting for our new server. I do have my own site that I've been tinkering with just to see what it can do - I'll pm you the webby.
  5. Latter half of the 2nd week of the Easter break is good for me The Birmingham one is even better if it falls on the right date
  6. Maybe a Google search engine for the site will help pinpoint key words more accurately. Possibly a consideration for Edugeek V2
  7. Me too 7 weeks The cabling side is seperate from the training side though.
  8. It's not that easy to find exactly what you are after. For example search for duplicate posts and see how many pages you get
  9. I had a note of this on my PC for some reason - I don't know if it's any help to you I presme you have looked here? http://technet2.microsoft.com/WindowsServer/en/library/f82e0fb0-552f-4b94-9ece-f550388976571033.mspx?mfr=true
  10. This one has got me Got a laptop that used to play DVDs with no problems. Apparently the last time the teacher used it the battery ran out whilst playing a DVD in Media Player. Ever since then Media player will not play any DVD without the sound either being crackly or distorted. Media player plays everything else perfectly. I have uninstalled it reinstalled it and updated to version 11 but nothing changes. ie put a DVD in and the sound stutters. DMA and IPO settings are fine, codecs seem fine. WinDVD plays videos without any problems but VLC is worse. I don't know whether it's Media Player or what - I'm stuck Oh btw - Logon is local - no restrictions. Any ideas anyone?
  11. Woohoo!!! Promotion to Pub Landlord Description Score Salary 3/10 Education 6/10 Job Satisfaction 3/10 Community Contribution 9/10 Pulling Power 3/10 Uniform 3/10 Total 27/60
  12. I was looking for a way to automate it as we can't guarantee that the cover supervisor will remember to keep the shared folder up to date. (It's a long story! )
  13. In Nova-T there is an option to export Cover data into HTML format which works pretty well. What I'd like to do is have the cover lists automatically update a web page on our Intranet. It can be done manually but would be a pain to do each time a change was made. Has anyone here done or got documentation on how this can be achieved automatically?
  14. Gun821 when I'm online that is

  22. Right click on 'My Computer' Click on 'Advanced' Tab Click 'Settings' button under the Performance section Click on 'Advanced' Tab Under Virtual Memory click on the 'Change' button Select the drive you want to move the 'Page File' to. Complete the Initial and Maximum size boxes then click on 'Set' Click OK, OK and OK again. Reboot the server and check that the page file is working ok. It should be the same size as the one on your 'C' drive. Once you are happy about that then you can repeat the process but this time select the 'C' drive and click on 'no page file'. You will probably need to reboot again for it to take effect. I'm not at work at the mo so hopefully the above is correct. I've taken you through the easiest way there are other ways I believe but for you this is the simplest I can think of. *Can someone confirm the above please*
  23. Look on the bright side - If teachers teach from home - look at all the travel claims we could have *I'll get me coat*

  25. Just for clarification - why do you need another technician? (I'm trying to justify having another permanent technician - I just want to know if your reasoning is the same as mine )
