On the database connection, when you installed FOG did you enter a password for the MySQL database? All you need to do is go to /var/www/html/fog/commons/config.php and change the mysql password in that file you match whatever you set it as. Windows firewall will be stopping FOG from seeing if the stations are up and running, hence the red mark.

Ok, I am banging my head against a brickwall and now have a headache...... I'm trying to install SQL2008 Standard Edition. I can install all features except the SQL Database engine. It goes through the installation and passes all the test and near the end of the installation I get an error..... invalid namespace I have installed powershell, Windows Installer 4.5 and the server have the right version for .net installed. Anyone any ideas on how to solve this?

Well the pc is certainly up to spec to do what you want and should have no problems doing what you need. I must admit, I've not used creative cards for a while so not sure if these ideas will help Couple of things to try..... have you thought going from the headphone socket on the keyboard into the mic/line in on the sound card. On input setting on the sound card, have you got mic boost enabled I'll have a bit more of a think when my head starts to work again...

Ok, bare with me on this.... I've not enough coffee yet and my brain isn't functioning correctly..... So you want the kids to play along with music...... are these audio tracks or midi? I have done similar setups using sibelius on both mac and pc and used a bog standard sound card. What spec are the computers your trying this setup on? and ideally do you know what motherboard is being used.

I created another primary dns zone called schoolname.LA.sch.uk and then stuck in a dns records for "vle" and "mail" pointing to the internal ip addresses. Make sure web browsers are sent not to use proxy for *.schoolname.LA.sch.uk Hope that helps. Mark

I have 40 laptops to rebuild (CC3 and its annoying SP3 update!!) ceiling mount 2 projectors and whiteboards install software handed to me on exam day move 2 printers between buildings replace a stolen PC for the cover manager Oh and paint a wall before I can put up one of the whiteboards....... DONT ASK!!!! And to top it all off I have CBA syndrom setting in......Not good at all lol

I'm just being totally lazy now as I have major CBA syndrom setting in, can you point me towards an idiots guide to setting up and using FOG please
