First create an address object for the IP addresses that will be connecting to your system. Network > Settings > Address Object Manager Add a new address object Give it a meaningful name Add the IP addresses you have been provided (I think you can add ranges like this: 10.0.0.1-10.0.0.10) Save changes (You can also create one for the server they'll connect to) Now create a new service Object Network > Settings > Service Object Manager Add a new service object Give it a meaningful name Select the correct protocol (TCP/UDP) Enter the port number (9091) Save changes Now create a port forward rule Network > Configuration > Port Forwards Add a new port forward Make sure Enabled is selected From the list of client addresses, select the address object you created earlier and click Add From the list of Local IPs, select the external address you want them to connect to Now under Services, select the service object you created and click Add & under Target IP addresses, either type and add the IP address of the server, or if you created an address object slect that and add it. You can leave target port alone, or be explicit and enter 9091 Switch on Logging and IPS, which will help troubleshoot any connectivity problems. Add a comment explaining what the forward is for. What is connected to 221.192.101.2, is it an interface on the Cisco device, or another system? What can connect to 221.192.101.2 from within your network? What systems within your network can connect to external systems via SMTP?

Hello, Apologies for the lengthy delay. I've been off work. Did you get anywhere? The screenshots all look correct to me.

A log recording the actions of any user of any system does not prove that the individual assigned the credentials used to access the system carried out those actions.

That is a product of removing the * element. I know this is all counterintuitive - I've never found WDS easy. Can you post screenshots of all of the tabs on the server config? And include the whole page. Above you've cropped it.

Are you sure that '%MAC' is a valid entry for naming? Try adding a letter, e.g. 'Z%MAC'. & did you reapply the updated image unattend file to the image in the WDS console?

In your unattend file for your Windows image (we use WSIM to create these files) you need to: - add the component (for 64bit arch for example), amd64_Microsoft-Windows-Shell-Setup_neutral to section 4, 'specialize' - within 'Settings' and against 'ComputerName' enter a '*'. The resultant XML will contain something like: GMT Standard Time My Owner Name My Org Name * My Product Key

We use pdf995 for general purpose PDF encryption. It is limited to 128‑bit RC4 encryption, the standard at PDF 1.4 (IIRC) and is a compromise. Stronger native PDF encryption is available but not necessarily to the recipient. For anything else we use PowerArchiver with the Outlook Plug-in. PA and the Outlook Plug-in are both configurable via the registry and thus by group policy. We have the plug-in configured to offer compression whenever a user attempts to send an email with one or more attachments. If they choose to compress they are prompted for a password (the strength of which is also configurable) and the plug-in compresses the file/s using 256-bit AES; if they choose not to, then the email is sent as normal. This type of Zip encryption requires the recipient to have appropriate software (such as 7Zip) available at their end.

I don't know about recommended. Much of what you do will be guided by the disk space you have available for backups. This is what we do: We have 3 Backup jobs. 1. Scheduled Backup Daily, reverse incremental, additional active full backup 1st Friday of each month, 30 restore points kept on disk 2. Monthly Full Backup Monthly, 1st Saturday each month, incremental, active full backup 1st Saturday of each month (not sure if that's a requirement because...), 1 restore point kept on disk 3. Weekly Encrypted Full Backup Weekly, every Wednesday, incremental, active full backup weekly every Wednesday (not sure if that's a requirement because...), 1 restore point kept on disk We have 2 Tape jobs 4. Monthly Archive to Tape This is a secondary target for the monthly job above. Tapes stored and retained for 1 year. 5. Weekly Full to Tape This is a secondary target for the weekly encrypted job above. Tapes stored offsite and retained for about a month. 1 is our convenience backup, speedy recovery from disk 2/4 are the longer term recovery/archiving backups 3/5 are the disaster recovery backups Hope that helps.

The following need to be in place: The Mac clients joined to the Open Directory The Mac clients are members of an OD Computer Group, e.g. iMacs Add the printer to the server in the usual manner, i.e. System Preferences > Print & Fax You do not need to turn on 'Print' in Server Admin. Open Workgroup Manager and select your Mac computer group. Select the Preferences item Select Printing Under Printers: Select Always (Manage) Under the Printer List: Select the printer under Available Printers and Add it to the User's Printer List The checkboxes below are choices. We have: Allow user to modify the printer list unchecked Allow printers that conenct directly to user's computer checked Require an administrator password unchecked Only show managed printers checked Under Access Select the printer you added to the user's printer list Click Make Default Leave Require an administrator password unchecked. Click Apply Now Click Done Restart one of your Macs and check the results. The printer should have been added to the list and other printers removed. A number of things: The Macs may not have the correct software/drivers for your printer(s). If this is the case (the printer is listed as a generic postscript printer) then you'll need to add the software to each Mac. The Macs' list of printers may not have updated properly (additional printers are listed, no printers are listed, general kookiness), in which case you'll need to reset the printing system following the instructions in the link I posted earlier.
