    Ive set up and have working dual openfiler, dual VM ware all in high availability mode full failover of either box VM or OPenfiler causes a failover to the other. All using a single LUN.

    Its not for tracking costs and i dont want to limit staff at all no prompts at any point, its too stop the children printing unless the teacher has specifically said they can (at which point they will put the password in). Thanks though - i had thought of that.

    Hi all Does anyone know of an app like this one Printer Password on your Windows PCs - Download Now but free? I want to be able to control the printing from specific work stations but it be instantly unlockable by a certain group of people and this not be based on a users logon. Thanks James

    No - youd be better of running the server 2008 on the machine or multiple machines as its hhigh availability anyway due to the fact you can use a server farm and multiple hosts or highly available boxes. Adding VM in this case is an extra expense and an extra leyer of resource use and complexity.

    Why not just put TS on the Uber server and use it as one massive TS to support all 100 clients?

    System Variables are corrupt/Missing Try this Right click My computer Selecet Properties Select the Advanaced tab Click the on theEnviroment Variables button Double click path and make sure you have these at the begining of the path Windows\system32;Windows;Windows\System32\Wbem;

    If you go into a command prompt and navigate to there and specify gpupdate.exe to run it does that work?

    Check though as i had someone who had had wifi etc all set up but still plugged a lan cable in because thats how it was when PC***** left it. - Wireless was never used but was always on and he checked it was always connected!!

    if you search your system for the gpupdate.exe can you find it?

    You can use exmerge to pull them back into the new exchange server - just use the second part of a 2 stage process.
